A/N: Because I love you guys and I'm nearly positive I'm not going to be in school tomorrow (and because this chapter is sub 900 words), I'm posting two chapters today :) I'll dedicate tomorrow to writing, and plus this will motivate me to finish up the last few chapters of year seven. Enjoy!
A week past since the run-in with Xavier and everything was pretty much back to normal. Besides the fact that Oliver was being much more protective (though he wouldn't admit it) and Marcus was still on edge, most of my friends were back to their normal selves and we didn't discuss the matter any further.
After I'd gotten over the week's events, I began to turn my focus towards the Quidditch House Cup. The match was only a couple weeks away, and we had a lot of work to do.
"How would you guys feel about a scrimmage?" I asked my team. We were sitting in the locker room, cooling down from a hot practice. "I could probably get Diggory's team to practice on us."
"Hufflepuff's no Gryffindor though," Adrian remarked before taking a swig of his water.
"True, though it may help to run through some of our plays against another team."
The team agreed to it and I added 'ask Cedric for a scrimmage' to my mental to-do list along with 5,000 other items. My six teammates filed out of the room, leaving me to put our equipment away. After stuffing my broom in my locker, I slumped down onto the bench, taking another drink from my water bottle.
Just then, the door to the locker room opened and Oliver walked in. He strolled over to the bench and sat next to me.
"Hey," he nudged my shoulder slightly.
"Hey," I responded, leaning my head onto his shoulder.
"Tired?" He asked and I nodded my head slightly. I looked up at him and was met with a smirk.
"What?" I asked, rolling my eyes but smiling. Rather than giving me an answer, he stood up and grabbed both of my hands, pulling me off the bench. He then picked me up with ease and tossed me over one shoulder. "Put me down!"
"No," he laughed, "C'mon we're gonna do something fun."
"You do know I can walk, right?"
"Sure you can, but this is more fun," he smirked before walking away from the lockers, towards the other door. His walk, however, turned into a run as he pushed open the doors to pitch, the afternoon sun shining down on us.
"Oliver, you fucking asshole!" I laughed as he ran across the grass towards the middle of the field. I clutched onto him for dear life, listening to him laugh at my alarmed reaction. He slowed his run slightly before dropping us both towards the grass. I shrieked as we fell to the ground in a heap, though both of us were laughing. He rolled over onto his side to face me as we lay in the warm grass, a wide smile on his face. "I hate you," I laughed, cupping his face with my hands.
"I love you too," he smirked before kissing me. I kissed him back, as the butterflies began to stir, until I quickly pulled away. In one swift move, I had rolled on top of him and pinned him to the ground. "That's what you get for not putting me down," I smirked. He raised his eyebrows and smirked back. Unfortunately, my triumph didn't last long, as he suddenly flipped me over onto my back, pinning me to the ground this time. "Fuck," I rolled my eyes, "I had you for a second there."
"Indeed you did," he smirked before kissing me again. My heartbeat quicked and I kissed him back with just as much passion. I slowly eased my arms from his grasp in order to wrap my hands around his neck and pull him closer to me. My breathing became more rapid and I could feel my heartbeat pounding in my ears at the intensity of the kiss. "We should probably um," I breathed, breaking away slightly, "You know, not do this on the quidditch pitch," I smirked. He gave an annoyed groan and pulled me back in to continue the kiss. "Oliver seriously," I laughed.
"Fine," He huffed, pulling himself off of me and standing up. He pulled me off the ground, the two of us still breathing quite heavily. He leaned over to whisper in my ear "Locker room. Now." I smirked back up at him but obliged.
The second we got back into the locker room, Oliver pinned me up against the wall and crashed his lips onto mine. I pulled away to kiss down his jaw, holding a hand over his mouth to keep him quiet. "I thought you were tired," he breathed, raising his eyebrows.
"Not anymore," I smirked before pulling him back in.

Fanfiction"Jeez Caddell, do you always wear that much perfume?" Oliver asked, smirking. I turned around to glare at him. "Was it not your brilliant idea to avoid harassing each other outside of the pitch?" I shot back in the same tone. **********************...
