The opening starts in the office over Leonardo Lionheart currently laying his head down, complicating his life on that when the door opens to reveal Dr. Arthur Watts grinning as always.

"Are we ready?" Watts asked.
Leonardo lifts his head to look at Watts as he closes the door behind him and steps into the room. A brief exchange of looks is made as Lionheart turns his head away from Watts who smirks in response. The two soon enter a secret hallway adjacent to the office. At the end of the curved hallway is a circular room containing a Grimm with small, spherical bodies that are covered with bone-like plates, along with red tentacles ending in white, bony spikes and a single eye.

This is a Seer Grimm, The Eyes of Salem located around the world allowing for communication and so she could control her creatures with near infinite range.
"After you." Watts said, pushing Leo to the Seer.
"Your Grace, are... you there?" Leo asked.
The red smoke-like substance contained in the head of the Seer Grimm shifts to form an image of Salem and Cinder at their location in the Land of Darkness.
