Lila Adams:
Ever since the night Charlie and I kisses, we've been really close. We haven't really put a label on anything. i wanted to take it slow to see how it will go between us. I've told the girls everything and they were so happy for me.
"well about time." Cassie said. "Finally my ship had sailed!" daisy said.
The group got the hang of Charlie and i getting together. "so your not official?" Owen asked me. i nod my head and continue to get ready.
"great!" he yells.
today is the gig at the diner. We're all watching Apollo's band playing the song he sang to me in the music room. Apollo and i are in good terms s He still hangs out with us and is very supportive of Charlie's and i relationship.
"Thank you so much! we're daylight break!" he announces and everyone cheers. "up next we have Sunset swerve? oh curve! sunset curve!" the person says. i laugh and we all head up there.
"Yes we're Sunset Curve and we can't wait to sing this song!" the crowd cheers and i take a seat on the piano they had on the stage.

Owen hits the drums and Charlie and Jermey come in with their guitars.

I notice in the crowd, standing tall and in the back was Evan. I start to get nervous and i think the guys kind of notice. Charlie's solo comes up and i'm dancing awkwardly next to Jermey.

Charlie motions me to walk over but i don't. i really don't want to rub my new (almost) relationship in Evans face although he does deserve it. i can see he's with a girl who is trying to get his attention but he's too focus on us.

Charlie starts to play his guitar solo and he walks up to me.

i look over a Charlie who is smiling and playing his guitar.
as we come to the end on the song i get back to the piano and i start to play the last melody. i feel someone come around me and i see Charlie lean into the mic to sing the last verse with me

i blush at the sudden moment between that was soon broken with the cheers of the crowd. we wave and say our thank you and head off. "wow Lila that was amazing!" my dad says. i hug me friends and i still noticed Evans stares.
"what was up in the beginning? you were like hella distanced from Charlie." Cassie says. "Evan here." i whispered. Their eyes widen and look around the crowd. "girl you should've rub it in his face that you found someone better than the cheat son of a b—" i cut Daisy off before she can finish her sentence and laugh.
"you guys know i'm not like that." i shrug. i felt a tap on my shoulder and see Apollo. "you were amazing!" the Australian blonde said. i smiled and gave him a hug. "so were you! the song was amazing and knew people would like it!" i say as we pulled away. Everyone was mingling until a women showed up at our table.
"hello, are you guys sunset curve?" she asked. the boys and i nod and she smiles. "i'm Melanie Thomas i'm a music producer." she sticks her hand out for us to shake. Our eyes widen. i swear they were gonna fall out.
"oh my god hello! I'm Charlie this is Owen, Jermey and Lila." he introduces us. "nice to meet you guys! i really liked your song out there. my assistant also said you guy performed at the cafe a few months back?" he says we all nod in complete shock.
"y-yea!" i nod. she smiles and nods. "i took a look at that and i have to say you are one talented group." she says almost impressed. "i want to work with you guy and i hope you guys agree. here's my card." she takes her business card out and hands it to us. "give me a call when you guys are ready." she smiles and waves. once she leaves the guys and i freak out.
"Holy crap! she the head producer at Heart records!" Charlie says. we jumped up and down like little kids at a candy store.
after freaking out, we decide to celebrate with pizza. we move through the crowd until i bumped into someone. "geez i'm sorry-" i look up and seen the boy i once loved. "Evan" i breathed out. "Lila can we please talk." he begged. His eyes carry guilt in them. the boy looks so sad.
"Please." he begs. i play with my hands. i try to look for the rest of the group but i think they're outside. he grabs my face gently and makes me look up at him. Evan was a whole foot taller than me. "tomorrow at Deans." i move his hand and walk past him.
i really didn't want to see him but i guess this would be closure. "hey what took you so long?" Owen asked. "i was saying bye to Apollo." i lied. They nod and we began to walk to the park lot.
oh boy.
