The five of entered the announcement room with our guards up.
Monokuma: Isn't it a bee-yuuu-tiful day?
Nia: How could we know? We can't even look at outside.
Monokuma: Well, Let me tell you it is a beautiful rainy day.
Mikio: Aren't most beautiful days like sunny and not gloomy?
Monokuma: Not when you find despair gorgeous.
Ayano: Can we not talk your despair obsession for one minute?
Ari: How could Monokuma? It's basically a personality trait, and not a cute one to say the least.
My four friends laughed in response at my joke.
Monokuma: I'll let you know I have plenty of personality traits, like good humor.
Yuki: I'm sorry, but who asked?
I was not expecting that response coming from him.
Monokuma: You all are such bullies, high school freaking bullies.
Nia: Can you blame us? We are high school students to be fair.
Monokuma: Look I don't like you all either but please just work with me here.
Mikio: If you don't like us, then why not let us go then?
Monokuma: Because that defeats the whole point of the killing game, if I just let you all go without earning it.
Ari: Can you just spit it out why you called us here? The faster we get over your shenanigans, the faster we can take you and the mastermind down.
Monokuma: In your dreams hair stylist, you and what army? The four of them? Puhhhh-lease.
Ayano: We're stronger than you think.
Yuki: And smarter too.
Monokuma: Keep telling yourself whatever makes you happy.
Nia: Now can you listen to Ari and hurry this up?
Monokuma: Fine; you all aren't fun anymore. How despairing.
Mikio: We're not here to be your entertainment anymore. Sorry not sorry!
Monokuma: Fine, I just wanted to tell you that the sixth floor is half-opened.
Ari: That's the reason you made us come here?
Yuki: Also, why only half opened?
Usually we get the whole floor opened to us.Monokuma: Well, I decided that switch things up. Is anyone going to have a problem with that?
Silence...
Monokuma must have a reason for switching things up for this floor. Something's off...
Monokuma: That's what I thought.
Nia: Why couldn't you have just told us over the speakers?
Monokuma: Well, there's only five of you left, doing the math it only takes one and a half murders to escape this place, so I thought it would be nice to have all of us together for one of the last times.
That's right... Monokuma said 2 people would be allowed to escape if they were the last ones standing.
Mikio: Good thing, there won't be any murders.
Monokuma: So you say, but how much can you really cling onto that after the past five times?
Yuki: Talk all your insults and comments you want; this time will be one of the last times you see because we are going to take you down soon.
Monokuma: Sure, try saying that after you see your surprises waiting for you on the sixth floor.
Ayano: Surprises? As in plural?
Monokuma: You heard me right? Surprises. One for each of you.
Ari: Oh god, it's not another motive is it.
Monokuma: Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Guess you'll just have to find out!~
Yuki: Wait!
Before Yuki could get a response, Monokuma disappeared like he always does.
Yuki: Guess I can't just ask what it is.
Ayano: I'm not sure how I feel about these "surprises". Can we just like not go to the sixth floor?
Nia: What if it's something that can help us get out of here? We at least have to check it out.
Yuki: What if it's a motive? I don't want to jeopardize our relationship as a group right now.
Mikio: I don't think there is any motive that would even make us consider killing.
Nia: We're tied two to two.
Ayano: Maybe we should just split up. Half of us can go see the surprise, and the other half stay here and wait to hear back.
Yuki: Hold on. Let's ask Ari what we should do? So Miss Ari... which one sounds best to you.
What should I do?
>>> Go see the "surprise".
>>> Don't see the surprise.I think I know what I want to do.
What should I do?
>>> Go see the "surprise".
>>> Don't see the surprise.I've made my decision.
Ari: I want to go see this surprise Monokuma has for us. I can't resist the curiosity and hope for something useful.
Mikio: Alright then, Ari and Nia, c'mon let's go.
Ari: Wait.
Mikio: Huh?
Ari: I want all of us to go.
Ayano: What?
Ari: We're a team. We have to go through this together.
Yuki: Are you sure about this?
Ari: Positive. If we do this, we do it together.
Nia: I am not one for cheesy stuff, but I agree with Ari.
Mikio: If you two are alright with it...?
Ayano: Alright, I'll go but as a team.
Yuki: What Miss Ayano said.
I led the way outside of the announcement room and made it towards the stairs. The five of us walked up the stairs. We made it to the fifth floor and walked the last steps to the sixth. The five of us stood confused.
Nia: Where is our surprise?
Suddenly, it sounded as if five doors opened. Following that, five figures came out, and I saw a face I haven't seen in a while. A familiar face.
???: ...Ari?
Ari: Yoichi?
