TW: pushing and sweari

POV: George's

*************

The wind makes the tree's sway slightly in the breeze as someone rings the doorbell. I get up from my comfy spot on the couch, walking slowly to the door and opening it to see a wide-smiling girl with brown hair and blue eyes.

"Hi?" I question, and she crains her neck to look past my shoulder and frowns. "Where's Clay?" She demands, trying to shove past me but i block her. Rude. I roll my eyes and sigh. "he isn't here." She rolls her eyes and tries to push past me.

"I said, he isn't here." I repeat, and she scoffs. "I heard what you said, idiot. I'm letting myself in so I can surprise him when he comes back." a smug smile creeps onto her face and she quickly looks at me and does puppy eyes. "Please let me in?" I contemplate the choices, but soon quickly make the right decision.

*****Flashback*****

"Excuse me? She did that?!" I ask, and he shrugs. "Of what I heard, yeah." I roll my eyes, groaning as I lean back. "She's a bitch. You know that, right?" I say and he shakes his head. "No she isn't. She just doesn't know that some things make a bad impression on people, I guess." I sit up, astonished look on my face. "You guess?! Oh my god. She literally spread a rumour that you and I are secretly gay and are dating!!"

Not going to lie, I wish it was true.

He rubs his eyes, looking at me. "So? Just, let it go.." I roll my eyes, getting up and going to bed.

****End Flashback****

I shut the door and lock it, making my way back to the couch. I hear banging on the door. "Just let me in for goodness' sake!" It's slightly muffled by the door, so I get up and close the curtains. A sigh escapes my mouth as I walk over to the couch, slumping down.

After a while, I hear a car leave the driveway and speed down the street. A smile tugs it's way into my face. I reach over to the coffee table, grabbing my phone and scrolling through Twitter. A notification pops up at the top of my screen and I tap it, seeing that it's from Clay.

*************

Clay: want anything from the store?

Gog: no, btw, why's ur gf here?

Clay: idk, I didn't tell her to come there

Clay: did u let her in?

Gog: no

Clay: wait she texted me

*************

I roll my eyes, continuing to scroll through Twitter.

***Clay POV***

(His gf's name is Marie btw)

Marie: babeeeeeee, you're annoying ass friend won't let me in :(

Clay: he's not an annoying ass, don't call him that

Clay: and I know, he told  e

Marie: tell him to let me in! I wanna leave a surprise for you when you get back ;)

Clay: sorry but I can't control him, just wait until I get back

Marie: ugh, you aren't a good bf

Clay: rude

Marie: 'rude'?! You won't let me in!

Clay: sorry but it's his house too

Marie: >:(

*************

Why am I even dating her? Oh yeah, to not make my parents totally abandon me for being gay. Right. But still, couldn't I have dated a nicer girl? She seems like she's just using me.

***George POV***

I shut off my phone, looking out the window and seeing a few birds by the pool, just chilling. I smile as I look back to the TV, turning it on and playing around with the channels before ending up settling on a random channel and instead casting a movie from you phone.

***Time Skip***

A knock fills the room as I get up, walking to the door and unlocking it and opening it to see Clay with about 5 or 8 bags full of groceries.

"I couldn't reach my keys with these bags and I though you'd hear me." I smile and grab some bags, walking over to the island in the kitchen and putting them on the counter, walking back and closing the door, locking it once again. Clay sighs and looks really tired, he reaches out to put some food away but I stop him.

"Go upstairs and go to sleep, you look very tired and you deserve some sleep." I smile and he nods and smiles, walking to the stairs and going up. I continue to unload the groceries into the fridge and cupboard.

After finishing that, I hear a car roll into the driveway and I open the curtain slightly to look out to see a white little car. The same girl as before comes out of it, walking to the door. She knocks on the door, stomping her foot impatiently.

I roll my eyes, walking over to the door and opening it just to see Marie standing there, looking directly at me. "I know he's home, now. His car is in the driveway." She looks past me, pulling a confused look. "Where is he?!" She asks, and I slowly start to close the door.

"He's upstairs sleeping." She stops me slowly shutting the door, looking up at a window on the 2nd floor. "No he isn't." I roll my eyes, sighing. "Yes he is. He's sleeping. When he was about to unload the groceries I stopped him and made him go upstairs and sleep because he looked very tired." She rolls her eyes and pushes past me, knocking me off balance.

"Ugh.." I grunt, getting up and walking over to her who's stomping up the stairs loudly. I grab her wrist, pulling her back and pushing her back to the door. "Hey! I'm his girlfriend. Let me see him." I push her back again just for her to push me to the ground and stomp past, running up the stairs to walk back down, stomping around the 1st floor instead.

"Why aren't you up there annoying him?" I question and she looks at me. "Because there are too many rooms up there." I giggle and she rolls her eyes.

Footsteps come down the stairs and I look over to Clay who's coming down them. His hair is a bit messy, some locks of hair falling in front of his forehead. He has small bags under his eyes and he rubs his eyes and yawns occasionally.

"What's all the noise?" He asks, his voice slightly groggy. "Marie's here and she's stomping around trying to find you." He rolls his eyes and I raise an eyebrow. "Rolling an eye? Damn." He looks ato me and yawns, rubbing his eyes. "Did you tell her that I'm trying to sleep?" I nod, and he sighs. "I'm going bac-"

"Clay!!" Marie yells, coming back from searching our backyard. She runs up to him, grabbing his arm and dragging him to the door. "C'mon, let's go to my house so he doesn't ruin it." Clay grabs her hand and peels it off his arm. "No. Firstly, don't talk about George that way and secondly, I'm trying to sleep. Just, sorry, go home. I'm super tired." She rolls her eyes and storms out, slamming the door.

Clay starts to walk back up to his room, closing the door.
