Ivy:

"You awake?" Oliver asked quietly, running his fingers down my arm over the sleeve of my (well, technically his) sweatshirt.

"Mhm," I responded. It must've been around eleven at night but I had a lot on my mind.

"I just had an idea," he whispered.

"Go for it," I rolled over to face him.

"You could stay at my house over the summer, at least for part of it."

"Oliver-"

"I know you're gonna say that you don't want to burden my family or whatever but you really wouldn't be."

"I don't know," I started.

"I want you to meet my parents."

"Meeting your parents is a lot different than staying at their house for an entire summer."

"I know that, but I also know they're going to love you and they would be happy for you to stay."

"Look, it's really sweet of you, but I don't-"

"Just promise me you'll consider it."

"Ok," I said, realizing there was no point in protesting. Honestly, I would love to take him up on the offer, but a whole summer is a long time and it would be too much to ask of him."Thank you," I added.

"Of course, I love you."

"I love you too." I scooted up a bit to wrap my arms around him and rest my head on his bare chest, feeling his heartbeat beneath. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

The next morning, the two of us didn't even bother getting up early to get me out of the common room unseen. We just lay in his bed for hours as the sun crept in through the windows. Oliver assumed that his roommates probably knew I was here (sans Percy of course), so luckily they didn't try to wake him up or anything.

"I like waking up with you," he grinned.

"I like waking up with you too. Plus I really like your morning voice," I smirked back and him and he rolled his eyes. "What time is it?" He poked his head out from the curtains.

"9:45." He pushed the curtains back and wrapped his arms around me again. "Do you have to do anything today?"

"Yeah," I groaned, "I still have to study for our potions test."

"Shit I forgot about that. Do you want to study together?"

"Fine but not yet, I'm not ready to get out of bed." I pulled the covers back over my head and he laughed. Just as I was about to drift off again, Oliver's stomach growled from underneath my head and I gave him an annoyed look.

"Sorry," he smirked.

"It's alright," I sighed, "You wanna get something to eat?" He gave me a wide smile.

"You read my thoughts exactly." I reluctantly sat up from my position and threw my hair into a loose ponytail.

"Let's just stay in the common room though, I'm not walking into the Great Hall looking like this."

"You look gorgeous as always, Ivy." I rolled my eyes, "But sure." He stood up and walked over to his dresser to grab a shirt. "There's no one in here by the way so we can talk normally. And I'm pretty sure Percy is going out with Penelope Clearwater this morning so he won't be in the common room."

"Ok," I replied absentmindedly, admiring how the muscles in Oliver's back rippled as he leaned over to pick out a t-shirt. He picked out a grey Gryffindor shirt and pulled it on before starting to walk back to the bed. I reluctantly swung my legs over the side to stand up. Just as I put all my weight on my feet, my knees buckled beneath me. I would've crumpled to the ground if it wasn't for Oliver who caught me at the last moment.
