CHAPTER 5

Alycia's Pov.

"Alycia Evans. You let me get all the way through this drive thru line just to tell me you don't eat meat." He said with a laugh.

"You wanted Canes Harry!" "I wanted whatever you wanted!" "Clearly not because I didn't want Canes." He squinted his eyes at me with a smirk.

"An attitude will get you no where little one." "Actually, it's gotten me pretty far."

He smirked as he pulled up to the window to pay for his food.

"Hi, it's $6.78." The girl said without looking at him at first. She looked at him and immediately looked so nervous.

"Oh my gosh...i'm a huge fan." "Ah thank you love. I like your hat." He said in his thick and slow accent.

She literally just had a Canes hat on. It's her uniform. What a dummy he is.

She laughed and handed him his change.

"Thank you, i'm paid to wear it." He laughed and pointed at her. "You're funny love. Have a great day alright?"

It's 2am Harry.

She nodded and laughed.

"You too!"

"Harry it's 2am. You told her to have a nice day." "I'm being polite little one!" He yelled in a playfully mad voice as he drove to the next window.

"Now where would you like to eat? And don't say no where because I will find somewhere if you do not." "You're bossy." "You like it." He smirked.

Usually, I actually would not. I know he means no harm with it though, so I actually kind of do.

"Can I tell you something? And you take no offense?" "Oh I can't wait. Hit me." "You're an arrogant son of a bitch."

His brows shot up with surprise and he looked amused.

"Alycia Evans, you did not just call me an arrogant son of a bitch." "As if you didn't already know that."

He leaned over the console of his car and put his finger under my chin.

"You're pushing it little lady." He whispered. "What exactly am I pushing?" He shook his head with a small smile on his lips as he pulled up and grabbed his food.

"Do you have a session tomorrow?" He asked as he changed the subject while he pulled out of the parking lot of Canes.

My phone beeped and I looked down to see his fucking name again. What the fuck? It's a text this time but i'm so fucking confused. The past two weeks he has tried contacting me so much more and it's starting to scare me.

"where are you alycia"

What in the actual fuck? Does he know i'm not home? How does he know i'm not home? Calm down. Calm down. He probably is just asking to see if I am home. But why does he even want to know? Fuck I don't know what to think.

I feel my breathing start to pick up until I realize i'm literally not alone. I'm in Harry's car. I can't have an anxiety attack right here.

"What's wrong Alycia?" Harry's voice snapped me out of it and it was laced with concern. "Huh? Nothing. Uhm...yes. I have a...a uhm, session. Tomorrow. Night." I stumbled through my sentence as I tried to recollect my thoughts.

We stopped at a red light and he closed his box of food.

"Alycia...who just texted you?"

We're not even really friends and I know he's just trying to be caring but this is really none of his business.
