Rei shot the scientist in the head incapacitating him allowing her to walk into the building.
On her way in, she grabbed Angel's identification card. With it in hand, she began walking through the complex with ease.
Rei: I've confiscated an access card, over.
Back with the Angels near the caged humans. They began wondering why the shipment was late until a ginger-haired girl fell through the ceiling and landed in front of them.

Asuka: Hear you loud and clear wonder girl.
(Bang, bang, bang)
She unleashed a barrage of bullets into the angel in their humanoid form until they fell to the floor.
Rei then walked into the room with a suitcase.
Rei: Cover me, as I use the card to open-
(Bang, bang)
Asuka shot open the cage, freeing the humans.
Rei: Never mind.
Asuka: Are there any more of you?
The humans shake their heads.
Asuka: Can you all walk?
The humans nod.
Asuka: Then get up, and follow us. Stay close and listen to us without question.
Rei: I'll take lead.
Asuka: Fine. I'll cover the flank.
As planned, they began leading the humans out of the test facility
Rei: Ma'am, we've successfully saved the civilians and confiscated a laptop containing a few files.
Rei: Now on rout to the drop off zone.
Misato:(coms) Good job. I'm done on my end. I'll meet up with you soon.
Rei: Roger.
The two then lead the test subjects outside the facility. As they left, they heard the sickening sound of bones cracking.
Turning around, they all saw the angel scientist Rei shot, transform into his Angel form.
