It was almost time to go and I was already ready. I just needed to put on a tiny bit of makeup then go.
I don't seem like the makeup type of person, but I'd usually just put not too much and sometimes only mascara.
I had on a black across the chest dress which showed some skin, but this is one of the only dresses I have in my closet. I got this as a gift from one of my other relatives who doesn't live here on Guam either.
I would ask my mom or Riv to let me borrow one of their dresses, but neither of them are my size.
I decided to use a pair of black and white vans because I didn't have any other shoes that would go with the dress and these vans were the only ones that looked decent with it.
I do not wear high heels. I repeat, I do not ever ever wear high heels.
I am one very clumsy person and even just less than thirty seconds of walking on high heels then my face would be eating the floor.
I check the time on the clock on my nightstand and see that it's 6:18.
I quickly grab my phone and my lanyard and go downstairs. Little did I know, everyone was already downstairs waiting for me only.
As I sauntered down the stairs, I saw that everyone was just sitting on the couch on their phones or talking like usual.
They didn't see me so I clear my throat, "are we going now or are we just going to stay in the living room all day? You do know that the earlier we arrive, the more food we can get, right?"
They all looked back at me and stood up.
Daniel looked. Wow.
He wasn't in much formal wear but he was still as hot as ever. He was wearing a polo shirt with black denim jeans. He was putting on a black letterman bomber jacket and had his usual chained crucifix around his neck.
Man was this one hell of a view.
Stop checking him out now.
He looks at me up and down and he was practically drooling in his mind before covering his awed face with a smile.
Shaking my thoughts away, I walk to Daniel. "This was the most formal you could do?" I ask gesturing to his clothes.
It was kinda formal, but not clothes to a restaurant in a hotel formal. But it still definitely worked for me.
"Hey at least I got a polo on," he widens his jacket a little more to show more of the shirt.
Even over this jacket and shirt, he flaunted his muscles perfectly.
"Okay, Bella are you going to ride in your own car or are we all going to ride together," my mom asks.
I hold up my lanyard that holds my keys in response.
My mom just nods and everyone goes out the door and now we're standing in front of our two cars.
We made sure we locked the house and turned off the lights before we went out.
"Who's riding with me?" I ask.
Daniel just walks to the passenger side of my car.
"So I got Daniel. Anyone else?" I ask looking at them all.
"Me, me, me!" Amanda and Johnny say.
I thought they didn't like it with me and Daniel in the car. Ha, they must've hated that car ride with the 'adults' last time.
"Okay, go grab your carseats from mom's car," I say but not before my mom interrupts.
"No, no, no. If anyone were to die from your driving, it definitely shouldn't be the kids," she says.
