Jeongguk sighs totally defeat as he is totally blank on what he can do to help Taehyung. He doesn't know what to do if even taehyung's own blood his own siblings won't help him and he's in no position to make any decision from their behalf. 
                          
He is in dilemma. 
                          
And still so not ready to see taehyung getting thrown in some fuckin assaulter's filthy hands. 
                          
So he just... Sighs. 
                          
"See.. It's not that easy.. We are trying to change.. Amend our ways but.. It's not that easy.. We are set in a certain way and it'll take some time.." Speaks the same elder. He seems to be pretty decent and Jeongguk sure understands the position of the elders too but it isn't easy to accept that Taehyung will be just like...sold to one of those the next day. 
                          
He has no other way than to accept defeat and can almost see a menacing smile forming on the lips of the leader. 
                          
"It's so easy to talk about ideals and progressive mentality isn't it Jeongguk-sii?" The leader starts with a scoff. "Big shot CEO of Seoul's most respected and progressive company. It's all a facade! because in reality you are even worse than us. At least my brother has the decency to ask for Taehyung's hand in marriage, although he is completely innocent and You. . .But you Just wanted to have fun and run away Didn't you? 
                          
Jeongguk would have reshaped the leader's face just right then and there if his mother didn't have a tight grip over his arms. 
                          
"Leader-nim I would shut up if I were you." It was jin this time. 
                          
"You are his relative and a worker under him I assume. Aren't you?." Speaks the the leader in affirmation again. "So tell me jin-sii if your boss is such a great person why hasn't he even once proposed about taking responsibility of Taehyung? He can and could've but why will he? He will marry some high class woman or say even a man of his taste Or I could say more precisely his status? You guys are just all just bark and no bite." The leader spits sentences with so much venom in his voice that everyone in the place including jin shudders with a loss of words to say in reply
                          
and jeongguk? 
                          
Jeongguk just has enough, he can not take it anymore and if claiming Taehyung is the only solution or is the only way to free Taehyung from this hellhole then so. be. it.
                          
He will do it. 
                          
"Fine! If that's the way you want. I'll do it. I'll marry Taehyung." 
                          
Gasp some but jeongguk Continues with finality in his voice
                          
"I, Jeon Jeongguk, would like to claim responsibility for Kim Taehyung and ask for his hand in marriage."
                          
That's it, It's done. There's no way turning back now. 
                          
The room around him turns silent and the sounds he hears are some more gasps along with hushed whispers of gossips and his mother's soft, "gguk-ah "
