I looked behind me and watched as Cutthroat hurried away. I knew I couldn't go home I believed his words but there was an unsettling feeling in my stomach that just wouldn't disappear. I wanted to know what it was he planned to do.

Taking in a deep breath I decided to follow after him at a distance.

Cutthroat stayed in the alleyways moving swiftly it was hard to keep up. My breathing was beginning to stager but I somehow managed to follow him.

With the alerts going off the city was louder than normal. Even though we were in the alleys I was able to catch a glimpse of the people. They seemed frightened and nervous any little thing now could set things straight to hell. As I continued to follow him I could see people ahead which made me slow down slightly. Cutthroat kept the same pace and as they heard him coming they glanced in his direction. He ran right towards them and they tensed up.

"Hey buddy watc-"

Their heads were cut clean off. A knife had slid down from Cutthroats jacket as he slit all of their throats in seconds.

My heart started pounding and I put my hands over my mouth. Blood splattered everywhere and had stained Cutthroats white overcoat more.

He stopped for a second to look at his mess before letting out a small sound of awe.

"Woah so much red!" a small smile grew on his face before he started running again.

I glanced down at the bodies and then back at Cutthroat. I still hadnt gotten over what happened in the warehouse but I shouldn't have been surprised at this point.

My head began pounding but I had to go on. I went after him as he made his way through a few more alleys slaughtering anyone who he had come across. At this point I wasn't sure how my legs kept up with the nausea from seeing so much death. Cutthroat had finished through the alleyways and now stopped staring out at a big street of people.

"Woah theres so much red..."

The moment those words left his lips he disappeared. The crowd screamed when the first blood was shed. It sprayed up into the air sending the people into full panic mood. People began running off into all directions but there fate was already sealed. With Cutthroat here nobody would escape this massacre.

I couldn't stop staring either. He was just so interesting to watch. It was disgusting yet beautiful at the same time. People no matter the age were now hopeless because of him. Everyone around him was slowing beginning to get slaughtered.

People had began to push past me and I was slammed into a wall. Nothing left my lips as I slid down to the ground. A shaky breath left my lips and I glanced around. Cutthroat had disappeared but so had so many people as well.

Another alert had come up and it began to ring like crazy. My eyes wandered over to a sign encouraging people to stay inside and hide. To think one man could cause so much chaos and bloodshed.

The screams of the people had snapped me back to my main mission. I attempted to get up off the ground wobbling slightly but using the wall to hold myself up. Even though he had disappeared it wouldn't be hard to find him.

I went opposite of the people. The more people that ran past me the more I knew I was going the right way. There was a limp in my walk but I went on. The closer I got to him the more blood that covered the ground. I could hear his laugh coming from a near by alleyway.

This scary man had kept drawing me to him. Even though he was the one causing the people to be scared I myself was beginning to feel that fear as well and for some odd reason was desperate to confide in him.

I approached the alley and once inside he wasnt hard to spot. His white overcoat was now completely covered in red. It wasn't just his overcoat he himself was dripping in it.

My heart went back to racing as I noticed the other people around him. The only difference between those people and the ones from earlier was they had weapons. The people Cutthroat now stood against were some of the most powerful Akudama hunters in the city.

"Your terror ends here, Akudama!"

Cutthroat only laughed in reply before grabbing a knife from underneath his jacket.

"How much red do you think will come out if I cut your head off?"

My own head was back to pounding and I could no longer stand up. My legs finally gave out and I dropped down to the ground. The pounding was going to make me pass out.

I was in so much shock. All of this was too much for one day. So many people had laid dead and so many more would if they didn't stop him, but oddly enough I didn't want him to die. Was this because he had saved me? Was I special to him? Even if I were I couldn't understand why. He was such an innocent man yet so dark. He was so complex yet so simple. He was almost impossible to read.

It looked like it was the end for Cutthroat. He was good but was he good enough to take down every Akudama hunter that existed? I wasn't sure, but I still wanted to trust him...

I continued to watch as I found my conscious slipping. My eyes were fluttering as I struggled to stay awake. The stress had just built up and it was beginning to snap. The pounding was only getting worse and Cutthroat had leaped towards them. As my eyes finally begun to shut and the reality of the situation had finally hit me.

His smile might be the last I see of him..
