"I haven't heard this song yet." Robert says beside me. "Yeah she's been hiding her dance practice from you. She said it's been really hard." Miles explains. "Okay chorus is coming up." I say as we ready ourselves to join Luna. "Contemporary ballet more like jazz, ballet and hip hop." A girl says on the live noticing the song choice.• NO ONES POV •
"They're all dancing together." Bindi says dancing a little bit. "Do you hear the song fading out?" Robert asks the other experts. "I do." Chandler answers. "Look there's people down below the stage. Someone's passing Luna a electric guitar and shade a bass guitar." Bindi points out. "Where did Miles go?" Robert noticed. "And a headset?" Robert adds on confused. They started playing 'The World Calling by There For Tomorrow.' "It's gonna get harder from here. We've gotta get smarter
To make it out alive. Cause you say stop and we say go. Don't wanna be your. Tenth caller on the radio. So don't bother cutting me off short tonight. We let our words speak for themselves
Don't take it all so far. Don't make it that much harder. Than it already is for you to stand alone
For you...To wake up knowing you've got the day. To take on without feeling okay. To make yourself unwilling to sleep away. (Sleep away the pain). Don't take off running without my say. Don't pay that price. You thought you'd pay. You've got the choice You've got the time of day. Just don't sleep away the pain." Luna starts singing. "Oh my goodness this is not what I was expecting at all!" Bindi yells. "I wonder why she chose this song?" Chandler asks knowing everyone was wondering the same. "I'm not sure either. Aren't they supposed to make their assignments based off their experts?" Robert responds. "I wonder what the meaning of this has to do with me?" Robert asks as he listens.• Luna •
"The next performances will be held on Roberts birthday! Thank you!" I say into the microphone. "Tune in on the first of December!" Shade cheers on after me. "This has only been the beginning and the best is still to come." Miles ends. "That was good. Well done guys!" Bindi cheers from in front of us. "Yeah that was mind blowing." Chandler agrees with bindi. "I'm just wondering what that song had to do with me. Like aren't your assignments supposed to be based around your experts?" Robert asks. "I'll tell you that later. But for now we have to go practice for your birthday!" I tell Robert and we all leave to the dance studio in the city. "He'll be in a riddle of his own trying to figure out the meaning of that song and what it has to do with him." Shade says as we sit down in the car. "Yeah. Shades right. He'll be in a riddle of his own. Like are really going to make him wait?" Miles asks me. "Yeah. I mean we need to practice and I'm sure he can wait." I answer. "Okay I'm officially dead. I don't think I can dance anymore." Miles complains after three hours of practice. "Miles our reveals take longer than this. Even making them takes longer." I snap back at him. "Yeah but do we need to practice we know we will nail? I mean everyone knows that our performance marks are off the charts. Perfect scores for them all the time." Miles makes a good point. "You make a good point but don't forget that we practice over and over again until it's perfect to get those off the charts marks." I correct him. "She's got a point miles. Our setup and practice is what makes us the best reveal performers in the Academy of the Arts. The time we put into them is why we always blow away the markers, our professor and everyone else that sees them." Shade backs me up. "Okay fine your right. But can we please take a break?" Miles asks. "Okay Lets go get something to eat." I give in. We leave the studio and find a shopping mall. As we finish eating and throwing away our rubbish, we hear shades song. We all look at each other and nod. We find a clear space to dance and start to dance. A crowd forms around us. As we hit the beat drop of the song we all start to synchronise and start doing tricks. Flipping, street tricks; anything you could think of we did.• Miles •
"Holy shit! Kai look it's Luna, Miles and Shade. They're really good." A voice said from within in the crowd that had caught my attention. I didn't stop dancing or mess up any of the routine but the voice sounded familiar. I didn't hear anything else so I focused back onto the cheering and roaring crowd. Shade had taken his position in front of Luna and I. He always looks so happy when he's dancing and doing tricks. As he walks further forward he winks at a young girl just like the routine is supposed to go. I for some reason felt jealous. But I knew that's how the routine was supposed to go. Luna looks super focused and smiling. Like herself. Focused and always happy. As the song ends we all stop at the same time. The crowd starts cheering and wants us to keep dancing. So Luna requests for some songs to play. "Consider this lunch over and practice back on." Luna says as she turns to Shade and I. "You guys were awesome!" The familiar voice says behind us.
