Chapter 24

                                    

                                          
(okay so this outfit minus the shoes and the hat and the purse)
                          
Lila Adams:
                          
Its the day of the date with Apollo and i'm still nervous. it's 9:30 in the morning and i'm just buried in my blankets. As i was scrolling through twitter, Charlie name pops up on the screen. 
                          
"hello?" i said. "hey umm the guys and i were wondering if you wanted to hang today." he says. "oh i kind of have a date today." 
                          
"oh cool cool. with who?" 
                          
i took a second to debate if i should say Apollo. i mean as far as i know, he doesn't have anything bad with him. 
                          
"Apollo." 
                          
"oh well have fun i guess." 
                          
"how about tomorrow. we can go to the place we went star gazing." i suggest and smile and the thought of it.
                          
"but that's our special spot." i hear him smiling like an idiot. 
                          
"then tomorrow night. me, you and the stars." 
                          
"it's a deal ms Adams." 
                          
"alright mr Gillespie. ill see you tomorrow." 
                          
we both hung up and i got out of bed and head downstairs. "Finally sleeping beauty is up!" my dad says. "Ha ha very funny." i roll my eyes. "eggs and bacon love?" my mom asked. i nod my head and pour myself some apple juice. 
                          
"So your date is today?" my mom asked. i nod my head and poured more juice. "is it Charlie?" my dad asked. i choked my on juice and cough so bad. "oh dear love are you okay?" i nod my head and tried to take deep breaths. "so it's not Charlie?" my dad asks again. 
                          
i shook my head. My dad nods awkwardly and my mom laughs. "foods done Li can you go wake up Melo?" she asked. i head back up stairs and go straight to my brothers room. 
                          
"Morning time Melo come one get up!" i open his curtains. "Lila please let me sleep in. it's saturday." he whines. "Moms making bacon and you love bacon." He shots up and and runs down stairs. 
                          
After breakfast, i went up to my room and got ready. 
                          
Apollo: 
Hey so i can pick you up around 11?
                          
me:
Yea for sure!! see you in a bit
                          
I finish straightening my hair and my makeup i threw on the outfit. I had a tuff time deciding between Docs and converse. i'm gonna be on my feet most of the time so i went with converse. 
                          
i apply last minute touches and i hear the doorbell ring. i sprayed perfume and i head down stairs. i was about to open it when my father basically pushed me out the way. 
                          
"Dad!" i called out. "nope stay here. A father always got to open the door for his daughters date." he said as he opened the door. 
                          
"Hello i'm Apollo." i hear his voice. i giggle at the sound of nervousness from his voice. "I'm Frank Lila's dad. your taking my little girl out?" he asked. "i am sir. i'll have her back by whatever time is good." my dad nods and as he was about to ask another question and shoved him aside.
                          
"Okay dad thank you i'll see you in a bit." i smile. "Have her back by 10!" he dad yells out as we head to Apollo car. 
                          
"sorry about that." he laughs and opens the door for me. i thank him and gets him. "are you ready for today?" he asks. i nod. "i love aquariums ever since i was little." i see him smile in awe.
                          
After having small talk in the car, we finally arrived to the aquarium. Apollo runs out of the car and opens my side of the door again. "thank you kind sir." i joke. "anything for the lady." he sticks out his elbow for me to grab and closes the door.
