As she stepped onto the elevator Emily Prentiss flattened her shirt and waited for the elevator to hit the fifth floor.

The doors opened and she saw a short, blonde and bubbly woman standing there.

"Hi. I don't know you. I'm Penelope Garcia." She held a hand out to Emily. Emily shook it and replied. "Emily Prentiss. I'm looking for Aaron Hotchner's office."

The blonde gasped "Oh my god. Are you joining the team? Fun! Right this way." She said as she led her through the bullpen.

Emily walked through and looked around at all the other agents in the office. She saw a young shaggy haired brunette sitting down solving a rubix cube. Sitting on the desk Emily noticed a golden blonde, long haired agent. She couldn't help but stare as she walked. The blonde looked up as Penelope chimed. "Everyone meet Emily. She's supposed to be joining us." Emily was a little flustered. She didn't really know if she was going to join them. But she might as well make some new friends she thought.

"Hi I'm Jennifer Jareau. But everyone calls me JJ. And this is Spencer Reid." She said as she grabbed the rubix cube from his hands. Reid looked up, he hadn't even noticed Emily standing there.

"Right. Nice to meet everyone. Now I'm looking for Aaron Hotchner's office." JJ laughed. "I assume Garcia forgot about that." Garcia smiled. "I'll lead you. My office is next door." JJ said as she led Emily away. She didn't know why but she felt something from Emily. She knew they were going to be friends. As Emily walked in the office JJ couldn't help but stare. She noticed she was acting creepy and walked back to her office.

"Hello. I'm agent Emily Prentiss. I'm your new transfer" she said as held out a hand. "Aaron Hotchner. But I think you are mistaken. I didn't approve any transfer." Emily was puzzled. She pulled her transfer papers out of her purse and handed them to Hotchner. He took them and looked through them. "Alright. I see someone higher up approved them." He assumed it had been Ambassador Prentiss, Emily's mother. "I can assure you me mother had nothing to do with this. Allow me to work with your team for one case and if I don't fit you can transfer me." She said. She always got annoyed when someone assumed her mother had been the cause of her accomplishments. Hotchner agreed and sent her out of the office.

As JJ saw the brunette leave her bosses office, she got up to meet her at her office door. "Hey." She smiled. "How'd it go with Hotch." Emily smiled back. "It went okay. I'm going to work on a case with you and he'll see if I fit in." JJ secretly hoped she stayed. She wanted to get to know Emily. Something about her was different than everyone else on the team.

"Hi ladies." Garcia had popped up behind JJ, causing her to jump a little. Emily laughed at the fact that this cute FBI agent got spooked by Garcia. "Oh shut up" JJ joked and turned to Penelope. "We don't have a case. We are having girls night. We are going to drink and get to know our new teamie" Emily looked puzzled. JJ noticed her face and replied "Teamie means teammate. She used it as a way to bring happiness when the job gets tough. But sure. Girls night sounds fun. My place at 6:30?" The ladies all agreed and went back to their desks.

JJ looked at the clock and realized it was almost 5pm. She rubbed her forehead as someone knocked at the door. She looked up and smiled as Emily walked in. Realizing she was smiling too much she quickly asked "What's up." Hoping Emily didn't notice her smile, unfortunately for JJ she had. As Emily sat down she couldn't help but feeling happy by the way JJ had reacted. "I uh." She paused. She couldn't help but stare at JJ. "Um. I never got the address for tonight." JJ was surprised she never gave Emily her address. "Oh my god that's right." She grasped a spare piece of paper, scribbled some writing on it and handed it to Emily. As Emily was leaving she looked at the paper and turned around. "What else is on here?" She asked a little confused.

"Oh." JJ smiled. "That's my number. "
