After being with Peter a little longer, my brother comes to us and smiles at the sight. Then he says, "Peter. A faun caught a Telmarine soldier spying on us from the woods."

Peter's king comes on; sending shivers down my spine. "Caspian. Gather all the important Narnians for a meeting along with my siblings. You and Lizzy as well."

He nods and leaves. Peter let's me go and says, "As much as I want to stay here with you, we have to go."

I smile at him as I start feeling cold without his warmth. I urge to kiss his warm lips. Without thinking twice, I grab Peter's arm as he turns around and quickly crash our lips together. I love his lips on mine....

I feel him smile against our lips. He pulls away and says, "I love you, but we have to go before your brother kills me."

I chuckle at his comment as we start heading back with our fingers intertwined together. We arrive at the meeting.  Peter and I part ways, letting go of each other's hand and missing each other's warmth. He goes to the front and I go to stand next to my brother.

Peter starts with his firm voice saying, "Telmar has taken our land, so I say we take it back."

Reepichipy steps up and says, "And what suppose we do, your majesty?"

My brother steps up at the same time as Peter, both saying, "We should--"

Peter sends him a glare as my brother steps back, looking at me in apology. I look at him and give him a smile of understanding. He has been leading the Narnians ever since I was captured; doing what I told him to do.

Peter firm's voice continues to say, "Our only chance is if we strike them before they strike us!"

I am left in shock as my brother steps up and says in disagreement, "No one has ever taken that castle."

Peter looks at him with anger rising. "There's always a first." I look at Peter with a glare at the way he is talking to my brother.

My brother continues saying, "But we have the advantage here."

Susan steps in saying, "I think it is better underground."

Peter sends her a glare as well. Trumpkin steps in and says, "We'll have the element of surprise."

Edmund also steps in and says, "And if we fight here, the Telmarines will just starve us to death."

Peter looks at his brother thankfully as Edmund nods. Peter steps up to my brother, his expression softens as he says, "Look. I thank you for what you have done here, but this isn't a fortress. It's a tomb."

My brother gives him a glare as he starts to shoot something back but I step in between them and say, "Enough."

Peter looks at me and softens his expression as he turns back to one of the main centaur and says, "If I can get your troops in, could you handle the guards?"

He bows his head and says, "Or die trying my liege."

Then Lucy's soft voice says, "That's what I'm afraid of."

Peter looks back at her confused. "Excuse me?"

Lucy's soft voice says, "Well, you're all acting like there are only two options. Dying here or dying there."

Peter sighs and says, "I don't think you're listening, Lucy."

But Lucy shoots back saying, "No. I don't think you're listening, Peter. Or have you forgotten who really defeated the White Witch?"

He looks at her with anger as he says, "I think we've waited long enough for Aslan."

He storms out as I follow him. I arrive at Peter's room and see him putting on his armor; getting ready for the battle. I lean against the door frame looking at Peter struggle trying to strap his armor.

I chuckle a bit until he turns to me and gives me a playful smile. "Well, are you just going to stand there and watch or are you going to help me?"

I roll my eyes and say, "Does your majesty need help?" He chuckles and says, "Yes."

I go over to him and help him strap up. While I am finishing strapping, I feel him staring at me so I say, "You know, your majesty, it is not polite to stare."

I hear him chuckle as he says, "How can I not if you are so beautiful."

I look up at him as he looks at my eyes and then down at my lips. I drown in his ocean blue eyes as he leans in and kisses me passionately. But I pull away and say, "We have to go. They are waiting for us."

He smiles and groans. "I wish we could just have some time to ourselves."

I shake my head and say with a smirk, "Come on, Peter."

As we start walking to the rest, Peter intertwins his fingers with mine. I look at him and admire how handsome he is with his armor while I just have a dark brown dress with a hoodie attached to the back. I suppose I'll have an armor of my own some time when I proof the Narnians of my strength. All I have now is the confidence that my soulmate will always be mine no matter what.

So I smile at him and kiss his cheek. He pulls me closer as we walk out together; ready to fight side by side.
