"so this is where you live. I have to say, it looks pretty much exactly how I imagined it to be." jun spoke in awe of joshua's room as they both entered the medium sized bedroom. joshua set his bookbag on a hook while de-cluttering his desk so that both him and jun had enough space to maneuver their things all over the desk space. while the brunette was doing that, the chinese senior looked all over joshua's room in awe. there were a few academic awards sitting on the far end of his dresser, which didn't surprise the purple haired male at all, along with a small picture frame that held an image of him posing with chan and seokmin. "you keep a really clean room josh, compared to mine this looks like a hotel room."

"don't touch anything junhui, I don't want to spend all my time cleaning up after you." joshua warned with a rough tone, to which jun completely brushed off. he thought it was cute how joshua liked to be stern with him despite having now a clear soft spot for him. ever since their trip to the mall the brunette had seemed to have gained more sympathy for jun and his wild personality, that worked in his favor seeing as he did want joshua to like him."I'm not going to make a mess, relax joshua. my family's always bragged about how clean of a kid I am actually, it's remarkable how neat and organized I am!"

jun picked up one of the awards and read its title out to himself. he smiled at his reflection in the gold color of the science award, even going as far as to throw himself an air kiss while winking at his own reflection. laughing at how comedic he was being, jun reached to place the award back on the dresser and gasped when he fumbled with the golden object of value. it nearly fell to the floor or it would have if jun hadn't caught it in his hands using his catlike reflexes. the purple haired male wiped his forehead with his hand, letting out a breath of relief when putting the award right back in its rightful place.

"not going to make a mess huh?" joshua glanced at jun's nervous figure out of the corner of his eye before gesturing for the chinese senior to sit beside him at his desk. the purple haired male shrugged his shoulders at the comment, smiling innocently to try to coax joshua to go easy on him for being foolish. in response the brunette let the suspicious look on his face drop as he shook his head. "can you at least try to keep it down then? my mom is asleep and I don't want her losing rest over you."

jun gave a suggestive eyebrow raise to joshua, wanting to know more about joshua's mom. he thought it was rather weird that joshua's house was so empty at this time; it was around four in the afternoon, approaching the early hours of the evening. if they were at jun's house around this time, the place would be crawling with the screams of his siblings along with the playful banter of his parents (although his dad usually came home around dinner time because of his job). "she's a nurse and she takes the night shift at the hospital so she sleeps during the day when she can. I think she has work in a few hours, around eightish."

"hm maybe I know her or something, it is a small world after all." jun smiled to himself, thinking back to his time at the hospital as a child. occasionally, about every three to five months, he had to revisit to check his heart function and how his disease was progressing so the possibility of seeing joshua's mom there wasn't completely insane. the brunette wouldn't have known that though, which is why jun smiled to himself. "so what's on the agenda today? are we going to go out and adventure? maybe visit a frozen yogurt shop, I love frozen yogurt!"

"we should plan where we want to go first so we can take photos in an efficient manner. after that we should try to plan out how we want to showcase each concept and then-" joshua explained elaborately, already beginning to write things down on a piece of paper. he listed down the components of photography and what they needed to complete for the assignment while he spoke. that was when a loud yawn coming from his left side interrupted his thought process. the brunette bit his lip while hearing out what jun had to say.

"all I hear is this boring mumble jumble stuff, we should just go out and take pictures! we have two weeks to finish this project, why rush it when we can have fun with it?" jun played around with their camera. joshua had asked his cousin if they could borrow it for their project, seeing as his cousin loved taking photos as a hobby. she agreed without hesitation, lending the pair one of her cameras to share and take pictures with. "I really wouldn't prefer to do that-"

"alright then I'll go out with the camera and take the pictures, you can do all the boring planning." jun held up the camera on his hands. he brought its strap over and placed it around his neck to ensure he wouldn't drop it while using it. one clear look at joshua assured the purple haired male that he was planning on deflecting jun's ideas as much as he could. jun didn't mind though; he knew that if he really wanted something done he had to do it himself. "junhui you can't just-"

"and he's gone." joshua frowned, locking on to how the chinese male left his room in a flash. he walked downstairs and sighed. not only did they get nothing done so far, but now jun wasn't even in his house anymore. the brunette knew he couldn't just let jun rush off like that; firstly there was no way he trusted the purple haired male to take care of his cousin's camera alone and secondly it was cold outside and jun ran off without his coat. joshua hadn't really planned on doing any cardio but now here he was gearing up with his own jacket so that he would be warm enough to collect jun and get back home. there was no way that the purple haired weirdo would have gotten that far in such a short time right?
