We walk down the aisle of centaurs holding their swords up high to give us a grand entrance. Even though they did all this for us, I feel a weight of sadness and guilt for what I said to Lizzy. I regret it all.
We enter inside the Howe as I see Lizzy push past me to go to the Narnians, working on swords and arrows. Caspian comes and says, "It's probably something you're not used to, but everything counts right now."
I look at him and give him a nod as I hear Susan call me. I go to where she is and notice the carvings on the wall. She looks at Caspian and says, "It's us."
Lucy looks at Caspian as I notice Lizzy behind me; avoiding my eyes as Lucy says, "What is this place?" Caspian looks at us confused and says, "You don't know?"
He grabs a torch that is lit up with fire as we walk further into the Howe. We arrive at a very dark place but Caspian goes to the side and lights the room with fire. The fire travels around the room.
I look at each carving on the wall. One of the battle in Beruna, and one in the middle of Aslan and Cair Paravel in the back. I then see the stone table where Aslan was killed and also Lizzy died trying to save Aslan.
I look at Lizzy as she is looking at the stone table; remembering that day. Where I almost lost her for good, but I'm afraid I am losing her all over again.
Lucy looks at Lizzy and Caspian. "They must know what they are doing." I look at them and say with firmness, "I think its up to us now."
I hear Lizzy scoff and say, "I need fresh air." With anger in her voice as she storms off. Caspian comes up to me and says, "Apparently you like breaking her heart and making her angry!"
I give him a glare and say, "Stay out of it! It's none of your business."
He looks at me with anger in his eyes as he says, "She is my sister, so it is my business. I will not just stand here and see you hurt her, and make her mad every time. You don't know what's she's been through."
I look at him and say sternly, "And what do you want me to do? She doesn't even look at me."
Caspian's expression softens and says, "If you really love her and care for her, then fix it. That's what soulmates do."
I look at him shocked as he walks away with the rest of my siblings following. I walk out and look for Lizzy. I didn't find her inside so I go outside. I walk out the Howe as I look up and notice legs dangling. I smile knowing it is Lizzy because she loves heights.
I found my way to where she is. It is a tiny edgy old balcony. I then say, "May I sit?"
She looks up at me and rolls her eyes as she looks back at the night woods. I sit next to her and say, "You know...this reminds me of that day of the coronation where you took me away from everything and everyone to a secret balcony to look at the sunset." I look at her and say, "Those were good times."
She chuckles and says, "Ya. That's where I told you I loved you on the dance floor."
I feel relief that she is talking to me again. "When you took me to the balcony to see the sunset, I didn't see the sunset because I couldn't keep my eyes away from you for one second.....You are my sunset."
She keeps looking at the night sky as I continue. "Lizzy. I want to fight and stand by your side no matter what because I love you. I'm sorry for saying what I said before. I just forgot I told you not to call me majesty."
I hear her chuckle and the sound of it warms my heart. She turns and gets up saying, "Alright, your majesty."
I get up as well and say playfully, "Okay enough with the majesty."
She chuckles as I grab her hand and kiss her knuckles softly. She looks at me lovingly as I say, "I love you and always will. Even if I do say stupid things sometimes, but my feelings for you will never change."
She smiles at me as I pull her lightly and hug her tightly. I kiss her temple as I enjoy her warmth.
I love Lizzy and I will try my best to not let anger get the best of me when I'm with her....
