I stared at her with love but only for a moment as fear took over me seeing the man grab a dagger and put it on Lizzy's neck; threatening to kill her. 
                          
She looked at me with fear in her eyes. 

                          
Then the man saw we didn't retreat so he started cutting Lizzy's neck. I see blood dribbling down slowly. I hear her scream in pain but suddenly I felt a huge pain on the same spot to where the dagger is on Lizzy's neck. I started to scream in pain as well.

                          
I looked at Susan quickly as she looked back at me with confusion. I screamed, "Susan shoot...shoot!"

                          
She let's go of the arrow and stabs the man that is holding the dwarf. I watch how they both fall to the water. The other Telmarine pushes Lizzy into the water as well. Susan quickly shoots the guy that fell to the water, dead.

                          
I run and dive into the water. Ed did the same but he went for the dwarf. I swim down as I see Lizzy struggling to break free. I grab her by the waist and push myself up, using the ground.

                          
We finally arrive at surface. I start to swim to the shore. When I put Lizzy down, Lucy quickly comes with her small dagger and cuts the ropes on both Lizzy and the dwarf. Lizzy turns to her side to spit out water and cough as she catches her breath. She turns back to me; shocked at the sight of me.

                          
Her soft voice that I missed so much whispers, "Peter?"

                          
I look at her and envelope her in a hug. Not wanting to let her go with fear that this is all a dream and she will disappear out of my arms. I pull away as I grab the side of her cheeks. She whispers with tears in her eyes, "You're back."

                          
I smile at her with tears in my eyes as well. "I promised, didn't I?"

                          
She laughs as I push her lips to mine. I missed her soft lips. We kiss passionately and filled with love.
We pull apart and our foreheads stay together. She whispers, "And I promised I would wait for you."

                          
I chuckle and say, "I'm so sorry for leaving you."

                          
She looks at me as she rubs her thumb on my cheek and says, "I missed you so much." As we hug each other again, I kiss her temple and softly breath in her sent and warmth.

                          
Then we hear the dwarf say, "Drop him?! They were already doing fine drowning me without your help!"

                          
My anger rises at how he talks to his kings and queens. I get up with anger but get pulled down by Lizzy as she whispers, "He doesn't know."

                          
I nod and help her up as Susan responds to the dwarf, "A simple thank you would be better."

                          
I go and stand next to Susan as Ed says, "Why were they drowning you?"

                          
Lizzy looks at him with firmness and says,"They're Telmarines. That's what they do."

                          
Ed looks at Lizzy with shock. "Telmarines...in Narnia?"

                          
The dwarf scoffs and says, "Where have you been for the last 100 years?"

                          
I look at Lizzy as she avoids my eyes. I notice she is different and that frightens me.
Lucy speaks up this time. "It's bit of a long story."

                          
Susan hands me my sword as I notice the dwarf looking at the lion and says, "Oh you gotta be kidding me.....is it really you guys? The kings and queens of old?"

                          
I stretch out a hand and say, "High King Peter. The magnificent."

                          
He looks at my hand in confusion as Susan says with a chuckle, "You should've left the last part off."

                          
The dwarf laughs and says,"Probably."

                          
I take out my sword with a grin and say, "You might be impressed." I notice Lizzy not paying attention as she looks at the woods. 

                          
The dwarf goes serious and says, "I don't think you want to do that, boy."

                          
I smile at him and say, "Not me. Him." I point to Ed as he smiles at me and takes out his sword. I hand my sword to the dwarf. He takes it but it falls because of the weight. Ed looks at me with an expression that this is going to be easy.

                          
The dwarf suddenly strikes Ed and Ed quickly blocks it with his sword. The dwarf strikes at his face and Ed ducks down, giving the dwarf advantage to elbow his face.

                          
The dwarf mockingly says, "Oh, did I hurt you?"

                          
Lucy giggles at the dwarf as he tries to strike Ed at his feet, but Ed jumps and swings his sword around. This makes the dwarf lose control of the sword and Ed knocks it out of his hands.

                          
The dwarf falls back in shock as he says, " I guess that horn worked after all." He looks at Lizzy as she stands firm and tall.

                          
Susan furrows her brows and says, "What horn?"
I look at Lizzy as she stares at me, but quickly looks away; once again avoiding my eyes. 
                          
Something is different about not just Narnia but of Lizzy, too. She is not the same Lizzy I met. She has changed and I don't know if I should be afraid or glad.
