Boo looked at Aru's eyes, brimming with tears, no doubt thinking about Aiden and Mini. They were her closest friends and the thought that something terrible was happening to them was unbearable. Boo suddenly remembered. He took his backpack off and unzipped it, pulling out a shiny box.
Aru blinked her tears away and sat down with Boo, "I-Is that-"
Boo nodded, "The infamous Looking Box. We used it to find you. Now, we need to use it to find the others. I'm not going to open it though."
Aru shot Boo a look, "Why not?"
Boo shook his head, handing Aru the box, "I have some other things in mind..."
Aru didn't take her eyes off the ten year old until she decided to open the box. She hesitated before flipping the lid open. Aru gasped. The scene was worse than she thought it would be. Aiden and the others were chained to a concrete wall, their legs and arms spread apart.
They were bleeding and cut everywhere, and Aru could make out the shadow of someone holding a whip. Aru gulped, but willed the scene to zoom out and show the location of where they were being held.
It wasn't far from where they were. Aru called out to her Jewel, "Ember, can you help Vajra take me and Boo there, using the coordinates in the box?"
Ember hummed to life, "Of course I can, Master! But I must warn you...this is some of my remaining power. I'll only have a bit left after this."
With that, Ember seemed to absorb the coordinates shown on the box. She went into Vajra, turning it into a hoverboard. Aru and Boo stepped onto it, albeit, Boo was a little apprehensive, thinking he was going to get electrocuted. Once they were both on, Vajra zoomed forward, taking the two people to the location from the box.
Suddenly, they stopped at a large warehouse looking building. It certainly didn't look like it belonged in the Otherworld, near mountains and trees. Boo and Aru got off the board, their eyes and mouths wide. Ember and Vajra disbanded, and Ember went back to her place in Aru's earrings. Vajra transformed back into a ping pong ball as it zoomed back into Aru's pocket. Boo tightened his backpack on his shoulders, they looked at each other before making their first steps towards the warehouse.
Once they got near the entrance, they stopped, listening to any voices that might have been talking. As luck would have it, Keira's voice rang out, loud and clear as she said, "Aru should be here at any minute, you pitiful children. You call yourselves the Pandavas-"
"We call ourselves the Potatoes, actually," Aru heard Nikita say, no doubt rolling her eyes.
Keira growled and Aru heard a whip crack. She winced, hoping Nikita wasn't hit, "SILENCE! You should be glad, I'm not whipping you, and the floor is getting your lashes."
Aru and Boo sighed in relief, but they grit their teeth when they heard Mini whimper. Boo clenched his fists, thinking about how he was the very one who helped in Duryodhana's conquest in his previous life. If he wanted to, now that he figured out how, he could end her. Oh, and he wanted to.
Boo wasn't one for having dark thoughts, but his charges- no - his friends needed his help desperately, " Aru, I'm sure you know how to get into the Realm of Time. I'm pretty sure that's how you can destroy her without hurting anyone."
