Carson p.o.v
"Are we there yet?" I whined, bored, for the eighth time.
"Carson, if we were there we would have got out of the car now wouldn't we?" Tony replies, snarkily.
"Git," I muttered.
"Lozer," Tony 'whispered'.
"Guys," Nat said, warningly.
"Yes, Romanoff," we groaned in sync, before sharing a look and laughing, the others joining in.
"So what are we gonna do?" I asked." You know, when we do get there,"
"I was thinking pajama party, how about that?" Tony suggested. Now, I'd better explain how our pajama parties work, because they're way more awesome than everyone elses. Probably. First we change into our pj's (obviously), then we play tons of games until about 7pm which is when we raid the kitchen for snacks and watch movies till we fall asleep. One time, Rhodes didn't know I was here and stood on my arm. He didn't break it or anything, but let's just say, he's been very careful since, I'm not much of a morning person.
"Perfect," I said, squealing slightly, I may be scary sometimes, but don't forget, I'm still a kid. When my mother isn't around at least.
"Mind if we join?" Asked Clint. Tony glanced me, I nodded, a pajama party with the Avengers, now that is not something you see every day. Or any day really.
"Sure," answered Tony, shrugging. Me and Tony loved pajama parties (hmm, an billionaire who has sleepover parties with a seven year old, who would've thought...that sounds creepy...).
While we drove back to the tower, I explained to the team, how the pajama parties work and I could barely hold back my excitement, Pepper, Rhodes and Happy always refused to join in. Rhodes did the first time we asked, but Tony and I woke up before him and put make-up on his face. We were going to tell him before he left, I swear. Problem was, Tony and I fell back asleep and Rhodes didn't find out about our little prank until he was face to face with his commanding officer, after walking past half the people at his base. Oops. I planned on sharing that story next time Rhodes is trying to impress a large crowd with a war machine story. I'm honestly surprised he's put up with me so long.
When we finally arrived at the tower, I immediately dashed up to 'my' room after asking Jarvis where it was. Since I may or may not be at Tony's a lot, Tony may or may not have practically given me a room. A room that had clothes in it for me. I'm kinda at his a lot, probably every time Tony is in New York, so he just did it. Without warning. You should've seen my face, I looked like a fish opening and closing my mouth in shock.
I changed into a pair of Harry Potter pj's, which proudly displayed my house, Gryffindor. I took the quiz on pottermore last year. My patronus is a dragon. Can you believe it? A freaking dragon.
I hopped out of the elevator, excited, before bumping into Clint, who was waiting for everyone, already wearing his pj's. That was fast.
"Oh hey kid, do you wanna help me build a pillow fort?"
I grinned, nodding eagerly. Tony hadn't ever suggested that before, he outright refused to sleep on the floor. It sounded fun. We headed to one of Tony's huge rooms, which had a massive t.v and several large sofa's. We grabbed a bunch of the biggest cushions and carefully built a fort. We then filled it with blankets and pillows, ready to be used.
Tony then chose to walk into the room, "Jarvis, what's this?" He asked. He sounded a little annoyed.
"I believe this was agent Barton's idea, he and Carson have built a pillow fort, which I doubt they will take down willingly,"
"Of course they have," Tony said, exasperated. He sighed dramatically and walked over to the bar, calling back to us, "You can keep it up, but I am not sleeping in it,"
"You weren't allowed anyway," me and Clint called back in sync. We had been constantly doing that while building the fort and instantly decided it was fun, plus it annoyed Tony, an activity that we both enjoyed.
"Stop that!"
"Never gonna happen
