Season 9 x 7

Calliope sat at the table, going over some of the books that were in the bunker, wanting to catch up and learning about the things she never knew about.

"Hey" Sam says as he comes in, "where's Dean or Kevin?" he asks her.
"Uhh, I think Kevin's in his room, and Dean went to get something to eat like always" she tells him.
"Yeah he likes to do that" he says as he walks over to a book shelf, and he takes a book off, sitting in the chair to read. As the two of them sit there the phone beside Calliope starts to vibrate, and they both look at one another. Sam gets up and he answers it, "Hello, I'm sorry there's no D-Dawg " Sam says.

"Here, I got it, I got it" Dean comes in taking the phone from Sam, "Sonny. Hey so, what's up?" Dean says as Calliope and Sam both look at one another confused by Dean's call.  "Okay...all right, yeah, just sit tight. I'll be there as soon as I can. Yeah" Dean says as he hangs up the call.

"So what was that all about, D-Dawg?" Sam asks.
"You remember when we were kids, that spring in upstate New York?" Dean asks Sam, "Dad was on a Rugaru hunt, we crashed at the, uh.. At the Bungalow Colony, with the ping-pong table?" he goes on to say.

"Yeah, you disappeared. Dad came back, you were gone. He shipped me off to Bobby's for a couple months, and when he found you, you were lost on a hunt or something" Sam says to Dean.
"That's what we told you, Right" Dean then says.
"I'm sorry, that's what you told me?" Sam asks confused.

"Truth is, um... I lost the food money that Dad left for us in  a card game.  I knew you'd get hungry, so.. I tried taking the five-finger discount at the local market and got busted.  I wasn't on a hunt. They sent me to a boy's home." Dean explains to Sam.

"A boy's home, like a reform school?" Sam asks.
"Yeah, more or less. It was a farm and the guy who ran it, Sonny, he, you know, he looked after me" Dean says.
"Wait, does Sonny know what we do?" Sam asks.

"Yeah He's good people. I gave him the number to the Batphone and sounds like he's got something in our wheelhouse, so.." Dean says as he starts to walk awa. "Hey, you gonna be cool to do this or are you too tired?" he then asks Sam.
"No, yeah, I'm just.. I'll be fine" Sam tells him.

Dean then leans on the table, staring at Sam, "And everybody's okay with heading out to the Catskills?" he then asks.
"Uh, I am everybody besides Calliope." Sam says.
"Yeah, right, all right, grab your stuff, we'll head out" Dean then says.

"Hey Dean, I mean, why didn't you just tell me you went to a boys' home?" Sam asks.
"I don't know. It was Dad's idea. And then, it just... You kow, the story became the story. I was 16." He says as he walks away.

"Hey, Dean" Calliope calls out as she gets up from the table, and follows him down the hall.
"Yo" he says turning around to see her.
"Really, yo?" she says back to him.
"It's my new word" he smiles at her.

"Anyway, I think I might stay back on this one, if that's okay" she tells him.
"You sure?" he asks her.
"Yeah..... I mean, it's been a month since I'm back and you know what, I think I want to take a time out on cases. I just want to try and get myself settled in this place, maybe go into the town and get some groceries, you guys are running low, and I can keep an eye on Kevin" she tells him.

"You don't need to do that Callie" Dean says to her.
"I think I do, do you want to come home to this place empty of food?" she asks me.
"No, I really don't" he says to her, "feel free to take one of the cars in the garage" he says to her.

"You're actually gonna let me take one of the cars in there?" she asks him.
"Yeah, well how else are you gonna get into town" he tells her.
"Thanks Dean, and you and Sam, be safe on this case. Check in when you can please, also I need some money" she tells him.

"I promise I will" he smiles at her as he kisses her cheek, "and this is for you" he says as he heads into his room. Dean goes to his dresser and digs around, finding what he had been looking for. He hands her a wallet, "money, ids, anything you will need" he says handing it to her.

"Thanks Dean" she says to him as she takes the wallet.
"I will call you okay, when we get there" he says as he kisses her on the cheek.

After saying good-bye to the boys, Calliope gets in one of the cars and heads off to town. Following the directions that Sam gave her, Calliope finds the town, and manages to find a grocery store. She buys what she needs to for the bunker before heading back. Once she is back she puts all the grocery's away and starts to look around the bunker.  She figured that it would have been the best time for her to explore without having Dean or Sam around, and she could get to know Kevin a bit too.

It had been a few hours since Sam and Dean had left and Calliope heard a phone ringing. She looks around for where the ringing was coming from, and finds a phone in her room. Calliope looks at it, before picking it up, "Hello" she says curious.

"Hey, babe" she hears Dean saying on the other end and sighs with relief.
"Hey, you guys got there safely I'm guessing" she says to him.
"Yeah, yeah, I promised I'd call, so here I am calling" he says to her.
"Wow, look at you Dean, so domesticated now" she smiles.
"Yeah, I guess I am, listen, I will call you when we are done the case, okay. I can send you the occasional text, maybe make them a little naughty" Dean says to her and she laughs.

"Sam's giving you a  look right now isn't he?" she then asks.
"Yeah, he is" he tells her.
"Well, I better let you go, help that boys house out, with whatever it is" she says to Dean.
"Yeah, stay safe in the bunker, and don't go anywhere near Crowley" Dean says to her.
"I will not go anywhere near that demon Dean, I promise" she says as she then hangs up the phone.

Calliope spends the next few days reading up on some of the books in the bunker, and letting Kevin tell her about some of the things she missed on. After getting tired from reading, she sees a text on her phone from Dean telling her that they were done the case. She sent a reply telling him that she couldn't wait for him to come back home. She tidy's up the books she had been reading, cleans up the food from the dinner she had made. She says good night to Kevin and heads to Dean's room. She had a hard time sleeping in her own bed without Dean being in the bunker. Calliope had come to stay in Dean's room, seeing as it made her feel more comfortable. Calliope goes in Dean's room, and changed into one of his shirts, and her sweat pants. Crawling into Dean's bed, she pulls the covers over her body as she tries to go to sleep.

Calliope wakes up to feeling arms wrapped around her, and she smiles as she sees Dean laying in the bed beside her. "Hey, I didn't want to wake you when we got in" he says to her quietly.
"I'm just glad you're back" she says to him.
"Yeah, and it was a nice site seeing you in this bed" he says to her.

"I couldn't stay sleeping in my own bed" she tells him.
"That's fine at least your not sleeping in Sam or Kevin's bed" he says to her and she lightly punches him for saying that.
"Maybe next time you will find me there" she smiles at him.
"This is the only place I want to find you" he smiles back at her, as he kisses her forehead.

"Get some sleep Dean" she tells him, as she then rolls over and tries to fall back to sleep. Dean wraps his arm around Calliope, and pulls her close to him, and they both fall asleep.
