Chapter 9

                                    

                                          
A/n: This chapter might be a little triggering!
                          
Few weeks have passed since I started school, I've been doing better. Right now I was at home with Sam.
                          
"Sorry baby I have to go, my mom wants my help with something," Sam saidas my lip quivered, hating the fact that I'll be alone.
                          
My parents are at a meeting so I am going to be home alone.
                          
"I know," I whispered as he sighs and kissed my forehead.
                          
"Call me if you need anything please." He begged and I nodded.
                          
"I love you," I whispered as he chuckled and kissed me.
                          
"I love you too and you better somehow not try to walk on your own," Sam said and I chuckled and shook my head.
                          
He then left, sigh and grabbed my phone, and started to play on it. Maybe a few minutes later I heard someone's phone vibrate, making me scrunch my brows. Someone's phone was on my bed.
                          
It was Sam's phone?
                          
He must've forgotten about it, I grab his phone and sat it on the nightstand. I'll give him his phone tomorrow after school. He is not going to be at school, since he has to do stuff with his parents.
                          
It buzzed again, I felt myself wanting to look at it. To see who's texting him. I know it was just probably one of our friends. I grabbed it and unlocked his phone. I felt my heartbreak as I saw Brennen was texting him.
                          
Brennen: Baby when are you coming over?
                          
Brennen: Can't wait till we sleep together tonight.
                          
I felt myself feeling sick to my stomach, Sam can't be cheating on me with Brennen. Sam hates Brennen. I shakily put the phone back and felt myself cry.
                          
I curled up in a ball and started to sob.
                          
I knew Sam wasn't probably cheating, but the fact that Brennen texted that. Made me believe that he is.
                          
I sniffled as I calmed down, I'll tell Sam tomorrow after school to get to the bottom of this. I stayed in a little ball for a while until I let sleep overtake me.
                          
"Next day" At School"
                          
I grabbed my stuff out of my locker and started to get ready to leave, but Elton stopped me.
                          
"Colby, what's wrong? You're not yourself?" Elton asked as I sigh.
                          
"It's nothing Elton alright? I'm fine!" I said annoyed and tried to wheel out of his way, but again. He stopped me.
                          
"Nope your not alright c'mon tell me, you can't bubble up your feelings." He says sternly and I sigh.
                          
"I think Sam is cheating on me," I admitted as his eyes went wide.
                          
"What! He would never do that to you? He loves you?" He said as I nodded.
                          
"I know but...it just...." I said but trailed off and grabbed Sam's phone, putting on his messages.
                          
I gave it to Elton and he scrunches his brows, anger written all over him.
                          
"Well....tell Sam tonight alright? This could be just a prank?" He said and gave me the phone.
                          
I nodded and left the school.
                          
Yeah, this could be just a prank.
                          
"At Home"
                          
It's been a while since I've come back from school, my parents are at a meeting again and Sam is still gone. I laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Thinking if Sam is cheating on me.
                          
I stayed in silence for a while until Sam's phone buzzed and I grabbed it, letting out a breath as it was from Brennen.
                          
Brennen: You were so well last night.
                          
Brennen: thank you for sleeping with me last night, told you I would do better.
                          
I let out a sob and throw his phone on my bed, curling up in a ball. Feeling my world cave in around me.
                          
I stayed like this for a while, but I heard my phone buzzed and I grabbed it as I sniffled. My heart froze as the message was from Brennen. 
                          
Brennen: Hey, your boyfriend is good at sleeping with me.
                          
Colby: what Are you talking about?
                          
My heart started to race in my chest as Brennan started typing.
                          
Brennen: oh Sam didn't tell you?
                          
Colby: Told me what?
                          
Brennen: oh nothing, he doesn't even love You!
                          
Colby: yeah he does.
                          
Brennen: if he does then he wouldn't have slept with me last night.
                          
No? He's lying?
                          
Brennen: He lied that he was helping with his mom! He finally had enough of you.
                          
I dropped my phone on my bed and started to sob, He cheated on me.
                          
"He finally had enough of you."
                          
"He finally had enough of you being a baby."
                          
"He knew you were gonna crack at any moment."
                          
"Wonder why he cheated on you."
                          
"You are so broken."
                          
"you should just kill yourself, nobody wouldn't even care."
                          
By that, I screamed a sob and curled more in a ball. pulling at my hair. My whole body shaking as the sobs wreck through.
                          
I stayed like that for a while until I heard the door to my room opening.
                          
"Baby why are you crying??" Sam asked as he came in, causing me to clench my jaw and he came over to me, but I back away.
                          
I sniffled and look at him as he looked at me hurt and confused.
                          
"Did you cheated on me?"
