Pansy-
It has been nineteen years since the Battle of Hogwarts. The memory of the task the Dark Lord had given to Draco and I that sixth-year still haunts me sometimes, but I am starting anew. My family had switched sides during the battle along with the Malfoys, as a result, we were pardoned of all our crimes. You could say that it is after the Battle of Hogwarts that I truly felt free and start living.
After Hogwarts, I got an internship at Gringotts, after a few years I ascended to the Chief of Gringotts Management. I also got married to Blaise Zabini, we started dating my seventh year at Hogwarts. It turns out that Blaise had liked me ever since the first year, but he was certain that I liked Malfoy. I still stayed in touch with Malfoy, I would sometimes bring my son, Blake Zabini to play with Draco and Astoria's son, Scorpius.
Today is Blake and Scorpius's first day going to Hogwarts.
"Blake! Come here, "I call, "don't forget your backpack and the lunch I packed you!"
I still have trouble eating sometimes, I am still scared of weight gain. But over the years I realized that life is not all about the next meal, or not eating...but simply living.
"Coming mom!" I see a miniature version of Blaise Zabini running to me, he did get my eyes and lips though.
"Zabini!" I call, "you are not setting a good example."
"I gotta look good you know," Blaise says, kissing me on the cheek, then whispers, "love you."
Blake pretends to look disgusted, Blaise ruffle Blake's hair, then says, "let's go."
We arrive at platform 9 3/4, with five minutes until the train leaves.
"Be safe, be good--" I start as I hug my son.
"And stay out of trouble," Blake finishes as he hugs me back, "I will miss you, mom." Blaise hugs Blake next, reminding him to make his parents proud.
"You know you guys can trust me," Blake says, puffing out his chest, "watch me I will make the Quidditch team captain like you dad, become a prefect, and also head boy just like you mom." (Oh, forgot to mention I became the Head Girl my seventh year).
I am careful to not place too much pressure on Blake to succeed as my mother had done all those years ago. I want Blake to live happily and enjoy his childhood. Although I did say I won't accept anything below an 'Acceptable' on any homework or exams.
"Bye now, my little man," Blaise and I call, as we watch our son board the Hogwart Express, we ourselves had board nineteen years ago.
Blaise put one of his arms on my shoulder, still looking at the train. I turn my gaze to the left and at that moment Hermione and I catch each other's gaze. She married Ronald Weasley. Hermione and I hadn't talked to each other since the Battle of Hogwarts...it is still good to see her.
After all those years and so many changes, I still haven't forgotten about the time we spent together that sixth year at Hogwarts.
Hermione and I both smile at each other, then we both turn away, back to our present life.
