It was a matter of life or death if he planned something for his friends as they all looked to him to plan something without fail which wasn't hard as Ted always was best at being strategic since a very young age and he honestly wanted the job because none of the other jobs seemed to need his skills, he applied and he had to solve a case that was overall confusing to everyone until Cole connected the dots and told his answer for the 5th time after failing the other 4 times. He got the job and he pretended to act cool about it as the other contesters left the arena and Ted congratulated him on a job well done which Cole was internally happy about, he waited in the chosen room and later on met Wrath who came in with several bandages but a proud look in his eyes so nothing was said between the 2 as they waited for their Surprise to come in. Greed came in with a sour expression as he looked at Cole then he froze when his eyes landed on Wrath who sat there trying to bandage his bleeding hand, Greed sighed before he went on one knee and grabbed Wrath's hand as he helped but the bandage on correctly onto Wrath's hand, Wrath said a silent "Thank you" with a smile. Greed sat next to Wrath quietly as they all waited in comfortable silence for the ones who chose them to come inti the room and tell them what they would be doing, Greed stuck to Wrath's side without a word and still had a sour expression that got a little better after helping Wrath out with bandaging his hand and a little more better after being thanked by Wrath. They did chat a bit before Ted, Martin, and Shane come in and put up a presentational video of what they all do in battle and what the newbies are supposed to do one day as things would only get harder and they needed to be able to handle a lot of bad situations with their jobs and all. 
                          
The most important thing was to stick together and not separate from one another because trust and team work was what all the jobs required the most if they wanted to last a long time so Cole, Wrath, and Greed vowed to always trust one another and be there for each other even in their final moments in battle together. They all hung out in Wrath's house once they were allowed to leave to get to know one another better amd Wrath's family wasn't home because they all had to do something that day and Wrath had already asked permission to let then come over so it was all good, Wrath was rather silent at first while Cole and Greed chattered on trying to also get Wrath to join them in conversation. Wrath had a lot of games on his PS4 like 'Detroit Become Human', Cole played Markus while Wrath played Connor and Greed played Kara and it overall helped break the ice as it was all their first times playing the game and Wrath hadn't had time to play it but knew how to play so he was doing well in the game, it was a great day until they had to go because Wrath's family said they were coming home and that Wrath take his friends home so that's what Wrath did in the end by taking them home one by one. Greed went home last and he had given Wrath a side hug before waving him goodbye and going inside his house while Wrath only waved and turned to make his way home to his family and hit the hay as he had been quite tired after all that fun and fighting, Wrath's family let Wrath go to bed early that night without disturbing him as they knew Wrath had worked hard to get the job and how hard it was to get it so without another word Wrath went to his bunk bed on the top falling asleep. After that the 3 of them grew closer and were stuck to each other like glue as the days went on with training and hanging out when training was over, Greed got more teased by Cole about the whole 'being clingy of Wrath' like it was normal friend clingy until a bunch of girls were acting confident enough to make moves on Wrath which Greed shut down quickly by giving them death glares behind the co fused Wrath who didn't catch on to their advances on him because he was just too oblivious at time even for his own good.
                          
Greed would always come up to Wrath and take him away saying that they were going to hang out somewhere like a 'boys night out' and Wrath would go along with it as he thought that Greed was just a bit lonely and wanted company, Wrath was far too polite to ever say no to Greed or Cole even if it was weird why Greed always wanted to hang out when girls came up to Wrath to talk to him about how nice and sweet he was while some gave him their numbers telling him to call them. Greed would always take the numbers and shred them while Wrath was in his own daze not caring thar Greed did that as the girls were all really nice friends in Wrath's opinions and saw no harm in them talking to him even if they did compliment him or swarm him a lot. Cole would start teasing Greed a lot and Greed would turn red in face saying he wasn't clingy while holding onto Wrath's arm as Wrath played Angry Birds on his phone, he didn't care to listen to what they were saying as he tried to beat the 24th level in the game and the only thing he knew was Greed's grip got tighter meaning Greed must have been upset. Wrath let his arm out of Greed's right grip and pulled Greed into a side hug which seemed to make Greed relax so Wrath went to beating his level while Greed was beet red and Cole was wheezing and teasing Greed even worse than he was ever before Wrath had done that, Wrath still didn't listen to them as he plugged them out and internally was throwing his fist in the air after finally beating level 24 in the game. Greed embarrassed but he wasn't completely upset as he would secretly admit that he was comfy being held like this if it was Wrath doing it to him instead of anyone other idiot he knows like Cole for example which he would never verbally admit just yet, he let out a content sigh not caring about Cole's teasing or laughing as he lay there feeling pretty great even if Wrath only though of him as a friend and possibly nothing more than that now or in the very future and he was fine with that for most part.
                          
Cole was having too much fun seeing 2 oblivious people on the way to possibly dating one day as Wrath didn't seem to mind when Greed clung to him but Cole tested if he was fine with Cole doing it and found out that Wrath looked uncomfortable and asked why he was doing that and that he didn't feel comfy with Cole doing that, he told others to do the same and Wrath told he didn't feel comfy with them doing that while Greed could do it randomly without asking and Wrath wouldn't even bat an eye at him for doing so. Cole knew that eventually one of then would ask the other out and then they would be a lovey dovey couple as they just looked the part of that, there was no doubt in Cole's mind that this would happen as he looked at the 2 who were oblivious idiots and Greed was the more oblivious of the 2 as Wrath once said he was bisexual so Greed has a chance with Wrath without even realizing it at all which just made things way more hilarious for Cole who was just trying his hardest to not laugh at the ridiculousness. Greed was cold as they were outside in the cold air waiting for their bus to arrive and take them near the theaters to watch the 'Us' movie that they heard so much about, humans seemed to love it so it must be really good and while Greed was shivering Wrath had noticed and given Greed some warm clothes. He gave Greed some gloves and a beanie along with a warm sweater to put on that he pulled out of a random hat he summoned with his magic then put the hat away after he gave Greed those things to keep Greed warm and put Greed's leather jacket away for safe keeping until they were back from the movies. They finally got onto the bus and waited a 15 minutes and made it just in time with their virtual tickets to come see the movie, Greed was excited to see the movie while Cole stayed quiet and Wrath watch interested in the movie as well and what would happen in it.

After the movie was done and they were making their way to the bus stop and Greed was going on and on about many things about the movie happily as he had LOVED the movie while Wrath listened to Greed's rants on the movie quietly without interrupting Greed, Cole was making sure that no one suspicious was following them as it was late at night when they got out and he didn't want to take any chances when they were outside defenseless and off guard after having watched the amazing movie together. Cole went home first as he had to go on a mission with Ted for the first time and needed to go as well as to visit Cooper and update him on things at the psych ward, they said their goodbyes to him and Wrath took Greed home as he didn't trust that someone wouldn't try to get Greed as he was the new Surprise and had many people eyeing him ever since then. Greed said a goodbye to Wrath who waved silently before he turned and went home to his parents who were making dinner while also asking him how the movies went while Wrath told them about the while Wrath told them about the whole afternoon that he was with his 2 friends which made his parents smile as they were happy Wrath had gained some friends lately. It was real fun for Wrath even if he was a little quiet and weird for people's liking and after dinner he took a shower and dried off and went to sleep after he did a warm up, all 3 of them had a great time and slept peacefully as they were ready for the next day to come.
                          
Timeskip to morning
                          
Cole had gotten up with a yawn as his alarm went off and he got ready then set off to meet with Ted for his first mission as he was seen as ready by Ted who saw he was making great progress already, Wrath and Greed were still asleep in bed in dream land as it was 5am after all and they all went home at 11pm after they watched the movie 'Us'. Greed was dreaming about Wrath while Wrath was too busy dreaming about going on a epic journey on how to make the perfect origami swan which was pretty fun except for when the zombie bear chased him down a hill, Wrath didn't realize that all the stuff in his room was floating thanks to him using his magic while dreaming.
                          
Maybe applying for these jobs and training was worth it because they never would have have met if they didn't get the jobs, they were all happy and that was the most they could ask for.
