"I need to duplicate you." I say to her as I pull out my wand. Her eyes widen and she looks between my wand and my eyes.
"What..."
"You don't actually think I'm taking you to that mess- do you? I wouldn't risk your life." I try to sound cocky, but my voice cracks a bit. In the passed five months I have done nothing but lie, kill, and lose myself. Infiltrating Synard's men was hardly an impossible task. The second he saw me there in Venice- he hugged me and welcomed me. Synard was very charismatic and intelligent, but his ability to see passed his own ideals and beauty of power: made him a mouse under my lion's paw. I found an ancient tome- with spells of an unspeakable nature. Ones that have never been seen by the eyes of men...at least not in present times. In that book, I found my thirst for knowledge growing. My wand hummed in my hand as we practiced several spells, charms, incantations, curses and hexes. I learned how to duplicate and control people and living creatures. I learned how to transfigure myself into anyone I come in contact with- without needing any part of them or poly juice potion. It takes everything they've ever known or seen. It makes you think like them so you can fool the people who know them best. I learned a new spell to eradicate selected targets as one without needing to point my wand in their direction. I learned how to mass camouflage groups and buildings so they are invisible to the naked eye. Even the strongest revealing spell has a hard time finding it.
The tone had unbreakable love spells, fertility spells, decaying curses, and even a potion to grant eternal life. There's also a spell to bring someone back from death with in 24 hours of their death.
Not that Necromancy is something I want to dabble in- it has it's purpose somewhere. Sure, I was tempted to learn every spell in there- ethical and non-ethical: but I refrained.
That doesn't mean I don't still have the book. I concealed it in my bag as an antique looking stop watch that I have safely tucked away in my wand box. My wand has tried several times to persuade me to learn the unspeakable spells, but I have staved it off thus far and I think it's learning I am not easily tempted.
"So what? You just want me to stay here, while you go off and attack the ministry?"
"No, my little dove- I want you to go to the ministry and warn them that we're coming. Tell them of my plan and prepare them. They will only have one shot to get this right." Taking her hand, I kiss the back of it, before preparing to duplicate her. "Duplici Exemplari."
She watches my movement- from her skin my wand pulls a small red little orb and I direct it to the spot beside Hermione. Her eyes widen as the glowing red orb grows from the feet up into a perfect replica of her.
"What did..." She begins and her duplicate turns her head to the side and and blinks a few times before turning back to me.
"Hello, Darling." I say and she smiles wickedly at me before coming over and pressing her lips to mine. Looking at Hermione, she looks less than amused by her carbon copy kissing me passionately. "Alright, Granger- that's more than enough."
"What is she doing here?" The copy asks and I can't help but smirk when Hermione becomes flustered with herself.
"Why...."
"It's alright, Love. That's just Rebekah...don't mind her." I tell the copy and Hermione furrows her eyes. "Can you go fix your hair for me- I want you to look more beautiful than you already are."
"Anything for you, Baby." She kisses me passionately again and then sneers at Hermione before going into the small cellar bathroom. Looking back Hermione- she seems very angry. I'm quite amused, actually. I should've made a copy of her a long time ago.
