Celine ran after a blue butterfly that had caught her eyes.
Behind her were Aro, Caius and Marcus who were setting up a picnic by the beautiful stream of water that overlooked the jade green grassy hills.
The same place were they had their mud battle two days ago. She still remembered how hard it was for Marcus to wash it out of his hair, her poor mate had wash his hair eight times before it had gone away.
That couldn't be compared to how mad Caius was when the mud had tinted his platinum blonde hair to a light orange.
Celine too had a cool orange tint but she liked it and didn't throw even half the tantrum that Caius did.
"Celine!" Caius called out from behind her as he had finished arranging the food they had bought.
Celine turned to him, beaming and raising her hand and showed them the little butterfly that was resting on her finger.
She looked so beautiful and carefree at the moment, they wanted to picture this somehow and keep it forever but it would be their minds.
"Celine, come here, cara." He called again and she walked to their mat with the butterfly still on her finger.
The breeze blew in her direction and the butterfly flew away. Her hair that beautifully danced in the wind was the opposite to the pout in her face.
Celine went and sat down between Marcus and Caius and was facing Aro.
"You could've pressed it and kept it forever." Aro said simply while pouring some wine.
"Pressing?" She asked him, confused.
"Yes, as in you could've kept it and pressed it against a-
He stopped abruptly when he noticed Caius and Marcus' widened eyes signalling him to stop.
"Press it in what?" Celine asked.
"I mean...you should not...be pressing a butterfly....because some people...do that. You should not do it." He shook his head and Caius almost facepalmed.
Celine wanted to ask more but Marcus secretly glared at him and he shut up. "Nevermind! You should have some wine, mia bella."
Aro poured a dark red liquid in a weird looking glass, one that she had never seen before and held it out to her.
"Is that...blood?" She scrunched her face.
"No, cara. It is a drink made of grape." Marcus told her.
"Alright." It wouldn't hurt to try it, it's definitely not poison. They wouldn't do that....right?
She took the glass from Aro and sipped it.
They stared at her face for any reaction but all she did was have an unreadable face with a faraway look.
Caius waved his hand infront of her. "Celine, dear?"
"She's thinking." Marcus suddenly spoke and his brother looked at him waiting for an elaboration.
"When she is thinking about something, very deeply, she does that. It looks like daydreaming and it also scared me the first time she did it." Marcus chuckled at the memory.
"It's...sweet." Celine blurted out and the kings nearly flinched.
"Huh?" Aro asked.
"I said it's sweet...but delicious." She went ahead and gulped down the entire glass and went to snatch the bottle but Aro held it back and she whined.
