Chapter Three-

Vic stared at me, raising his eyebrows, and making me feel extremely uncomfortable. He was looking at me like he knew it was for sure me who was staring at him, when it could have been anyone from my table. But, he looked like he was positive. "Any reason you were looking at me?" He asked, a small smirk on his face. My cheeks went red, but I didn't say anything. I was remembering the first time I ever met him.

Flashback, 4 years ago

It was my first week at Clairemont High. Over the past few days that I had been here, no one had bugged me, but then again, nobody had tried to be friends with me either. I had no idea whether or not I'd rather be alone, or be bugged by the people at school and have a friend or two.

I had seen how harsh some of the kids at school had been. They bullied and pushed people, kids, around. I think the main guy was named Oli or something, but one day I saw him pushing some kid into a locker. I glared at the scene from a distance, not sure if I should do something. Hell, I knew I SHOULD, but could I? I mean, I may not be weak, but I'm probably not as strong as Oli or whatever his name is. But, as I watched him push the ginger around, I couldn't stand back and watch anymore. I walked across the hall, and I could hear the words

Oli was saying now. "Come on, loser, I know you can fight back!" The ginger simply rolled his eyes, before Oli pinned his arm against the guys neck.

I put my hand on Oli's shoulder, making him turn to face me. "Leave him alone, Oli." I said, hoping I had the right name, and that he would listen to me. Oli narrowed his eyes at my face, then looked at my hand on his shoulder. He tore my hand off his shoulder, before his eyes took on a hateful and disgusted look.

"Don't touch me you fucking fag!" He said, pushing me into the wall, next to the ginger who was previously pushed. I didn't say anything, I just looked at him through blank eyes. He grimaced, glaring still. "Don't even look at me loser! You maybe the new kid-" He was cut off by a voice.

"Leave them alone Oliver." They said, and I turned my head to look at the owner of the voice. He had shoulder length obviously straightened brown hair, mocha brown eyes, darker skin, and he had a look of disinterest in his eyes. I snapped out of my staring when I heard Oli speak again.

"Whatever." He snapped, before glaring at me and the ginger, then turning back to glare at the brown haired boy, who still was looking Oli with disinterest. He glared at the guy for a few more minutes, before he walked away from us, leaving everyone to stare at us.

"Get lost." The brown haired guy said, and just like that, everyone quickly scrambled away, except me, and the ginger who was slowly walking away from us. He looked at me, raising his eyebrows. "Watch yourself kid." He said to me, before walking away from me, a smirk on his lips. I stared at him as he walked away, just almost in complete shock over what had just happened.

"Do you have a death wish?" I heard someone say, and I turned to look at the owner of the voice, to find it was the ginger from early, and he was looking at me with wide eyes. I looked at him obviously confused. He chuckled. "Talking to Victor Fuentes and telling off Oliver Sykes. That's pretty damn brave." He told me, cracking a smile. I shrugged my shoulders, not really sure what to say.
