I stormed into the kitchen, and there before me, was Will and Tatiana sitting at the kitchen table. Will looked exhausted and seemed to barely be paying attention to anything Tatiana was saying, whereas she was smiling and grinning at him. He looked over at me as soon as I entered, and I noticed that he sat up straighter in his chair. My cheeks burned red at the thought of what we had done the night before, but then it was drowned out by my irritation of seeing Tatiana.
"Tessa." Tatiana spoke stiffly as she saw me.
"Tatiana." I nodded my head in her direction. "I didn't know you would be coming by this morning."
She gave me a horrible grin. "I heard that Will was back from Australia and I just had to come see him. We've always been really close, you know, even though we're not together."
I gritted my teeth in annoyance but only gave Tatiana a fake smile. Will had rolled his eyes at Tatiana's claim and it was clear to me that he did not want her here. I doubted that Will had invited her over, but the sight of seeing him with someone who he had once dated made me feel sick inside. I turned away from them and poured myself a cup of coffee. Tatiana continued on speaking about how she had missed Will, and every so often Will would hum in acknowledgement. My anger rose by the minute.
"Oh, Tessa." Tatiana then looked over at me, nearly smirking. "Isn't my Will so sweet? He woke up so early this morning because I had called and told him that I would come and see him. My Will would do anything for me."
That was the last straw for me and I shot Tatiana a mocking grin. "Did you know that your Will slept in my bed last night?"
Tatiana gave a little gasp and I watched as Will's mouth quirked up in amusement. I didn't share his amusement, however. A part of me felt angry towards him for letting Tatiana be here and say things like this, after everything we had done the night before.
"That isn't true, is it?" Tatiana turned her eyes onto Will, accusingly. "You didn't actually touch her did you?"
Tatiana sounded disgusted and as if I was a million levels below her, and I could only roll my eyes at her; I don't why she thought she was so much better than everyone else, but she had thought so since we had been teenagers.
"Yep." Will replied, carelessly. "I slept in Tessa's bed last night and we nearly fucked. Sorry."
My lips then did twitch in amusement at Will's vulgar language, as I knew that it would greatly upset Tatiana. And it seemed like it had because she gasped again and jumped out of her chair, glaring down at Will fiercely.
"You never cared about me!" Tatiana exclaimed angrily then.
"No, I didn't." Will replied in that same careless tone.
"You always loved her." Tatiana shot me a deathly look, and then went back to looking at Will. "When we were kids, you always had this -- this obsession with her. I should have known that you would betray me with her."
"That is not true." Will sounded tired. "And I never betrayed you at all. We haven't been together in months, Tatiana, and honestly we should have never been together in the first place."
Tatiana made a shocked noise and I could only stand there and witness their fight, trying not to grin in amusement. I knew that I shouldn't laugh at someone else's pain, but Tatiana had always been rude to me for as long as I could remember. She then abruptly stormed out of our house, slamming the door on her way out. Will then started to laugh and I could only watch him with amusement.
"You shouldn't laugh at her." I was shaking my head, trying to conceal my grin. "I think you really hurt her feelings."
"Not my problem." Will sounded pleased with himself. "She is insane and I had been wanting to say that for months."
