Thanit's pov:
                          
"Here's the cake." Kim put the cake on the dining table. 
                          
I slowly opened the box and looked inside. 
                          
I raised my eyebrows. 
                          
"Woah.... This looks really beautiful." I mumbled. 
                          
"Yup. I'm so glad i went with p'Wad's recommendation." He said happily. 
                          
He took it out of the box and kept it on the table. 
                          
"Did you tell him about her?" I asked when i saw the message on the side. 
                          
"I said she's very insecure about herself when i saw the message on top. He added this after that." He answered. 
                          
"Sounds like a really nice place." I smiled. 
                          
He also smiled and nodded. 
                          
"Where's Ethena?" He asked looking around. 
                          
I went out into the backyard. 
                          
"Ethena." I called out.
                          
She was sitting on the grass under the tree reading a book. 
                          
She quietly came upto me.
                          
I smiled.
                          
"Your birthday cake is here."
                          
"But i don't need..." She mumbled.
                          
"But your daddy wants you to have one. The person who made it, made it with lots of love. We don't want to waste a pretty cake do we?" I knelt infront of her.
                          
She was hesitant but shook her head eventually.
                          
"Come on. Let's see your cake." I lifted her up and brought her inside. 
                          
I  put her on the high chair. 
                          
She stared at the message on the side of the cake. 
                          
Your scars mean you survived. 
You were very brave. 
And that is a trait of the best and most beautiful princesses. 
So don't be ashamed. 
They are beautiful mementos of the battles you won. 
                          
She was staring at it silently. 
                          
"Me... men... tos?" She looked at Kim questioning. 
                          
"It means they are reminders of the battles you won." He explained. 
                          
Tears formed in her eyes. 
                          
"Ethena is the bravest girl i have met. You have survived through so much pain." I patted her head gently. 
                          
"Beautiful?" She looked up at me. 
                          
Kim smiled and lifted her a little so she could see the top of the cake. 
                          
"The most beautiful princess in the universe." He said softly and pecked the top of her head. 
                          
"R-really?" She asked shakily. 
                          
"Really." He said firmly. 
                          
She turned and made grabby hands at him. 
                          
He lifted her up and hugged her. 
                          
She wrapped her arms around his neck. 
                          
"Daddy's beautiful princess." He kissed her temple. 
                          
"Don't listen to anyone else. You're the most beautiful princess in the universe. You're not ugly. These scars are beautiful. They show how brave you are." He said gently. 
                          
She nodded against his neck. 
                          
"Th-thank you.... For sa-ving me...." She cried. 
                          
"No. Thank you for agreeing to be my princess." He patted her head.
