I woke up with the loud blaring of my alarm. Taking a quick glance on my phone, I sat up and yawned, easing my body with the cold temperature of the room. It's freezing cold, just how I like it. It's still eleven o'clock, which means I have enough time to get myself ready. I wouldn't want to make him wait while I panic as I decide what I should wear.
I took a quick shower and blow dried my hair. It's pitch black, highlighting the paleness of my skin. I often received compliments about how soft and beautiful it is. Most models perm their hairs into the colour that would match their eyes but I guess I never really had the courage to change myself. I was contented on what I have, feeling that it is more than enough than I should've deserved. I gave a solemn smile on the girl staring at me with her hazel brown doe eyes. You'll be fine.
I finished getting ready when the clock struck twelve. Wearing a black romper with a silver channel belt around my hips and a balenciaga black boots to complete my look. My hair is perfectly styled in fishtails that ended just above my waist. I took a selfie and posted it on my IG story, as I typed the words 'ready for our adventure!'. I also posted a mirror shot on my IG feed. I smiled to myself and tried to find Aiken's account on the gram. A frown formed my lips when I saw no accounts with his face and name on it. He doesn't have an Instagram account?
I turned off my cellular data after receiving a lot of notifications. A text came in the moment I was about to turn my phone off. It's from Lorie.
From Manager Rie:
Enjoy ur day! Don't text or
call my num. Wait for me to
contact u first! And stay out
of trouble! Love lots!A smile crept to my face, I could almost hear her voice. I was about to dab some lip gloss when I received a call from the telephone on the side table. It must be from the front desk.
"Hello?"
(I hope I am not interrupting your day, young miss, but you have guest here at the lobby. He calls himself by the name Aiken De Loughrey. Should I send him in?)
He's early. It's still quarter to one. Thankfully, I'm almost done. I just need to pack up a few things since all the clothes that I bought last night are still inside the paper bags. I also bought a new LV duffel bag so that's where I decided to place all my new things. Ang kalat ko maglayas.
"Yes, please escort him to my room. Thank you." I fixed the loose strand of hair and applied lip gloss before standing up to wait for him to knock on my door.
I scrabbled my way towards the door and stopped midway, blowing the loose strand of hair off my face and exhaling. I nodded once and opened the door, my expression bored as if my heart isn't hammering wildly against my chest like the harsh splash of waves during a storm surge.
He's wearing a loose plain white shirt, black track pants and black hiking boots. He saluted teasingly and did a midway bow, like a curtsy before walking inside my room. He didn't talk, instead his eyes roamed around the entire room reflecting an emotion that I am not certain of. He looks like a kid in an amusement park.
"Ikaw lang mag isa dito? It's a huge room don't you think?" I chose the presidential suite since I'm not really fond of enclosed tight spaces. It makes me feel uncomfortable , especially with the fact that it's where I take my rest. I walked towards my bed and finished placing all of my things inside my bag before deciding to say,
"I ran away but I don't want to sleep on cramped up rooms."
"Ran away ran away, eh babalik ka rin naman ah." He teased.
