Ivy:
"A party? With Gryffindors?" Alyssa mumbled, her mouth full with salad. "Good luck."
"I doubt I'll stay for long." I turned around to see that I was still receiving some glares from Matilda's loyal friends.
"Ignore them, if she really liked him she should've asked him out, and she didn't so there's no reason why she should be mad at you."
"True," I replied, poking my chicken.
"Do you guys want to do anything today or just chill?" Alyssa asked.
"Honestly just chill," Meghan said and I nodded my head in agreement. We headed back to the common room after lunch. We sat in front of the fireplace and talked for a while.
"Hey can anyone help me with this potions assignment?" Marcus asked, coming up to us.
"I already did it," Meghan said "I can help you if you want." Alyssa and I made eye contact and both bit our lips. Meghan sat up from her chair and walked with Flint over to one of the tables to help him.
"We lost her," I grinned. "You know Lys, you could probably come to that party tonight, plus then I won't be the only Slytherin."
"And third wheel on you two? No thanks," she laughed.
The rest of the afternoon consisted of us doing homework and talking. Meghan returned from Flint's table in a good mood which put Alyssa and I in a good mood too. We headed down to dinner in a large group, laughing and talking with one another. I still attracted some stares from other tables but most people had seemed to get over the kiss by now. I looked over at Oliver to see him in a heated debate with another Gryffindor. I assumed it was over quidditch and turned back to my friends.
"...Look, I'm just saying I saw them come out of the room of requirement, that's enough evidence for me." Flint was talking to Philip about two fifth years who were suspectedly shagging.
"Speaking of, when's the last time you've gotten a good shag in?" Philip joked with Flint while loading potatoes into his plate. "There was that fifth year a while ago, what was her name?"
Flint had turned red in the face now and I saw Meghan sit up straighter out of the corner of my eye.
"Oh fuck off that was a long time ago and it didn't mean anything." Marcus said quickly, changing the subject. I saw him glance over at Meghan to see if she had overheard.
After dinner I said goodbye to my friends and headed up to the library to meet Oliver. There were a few people finishing assignments but the large room was mostly empty. It was dark out, however the bright candles and torches that scattered the library provided enough light. I sat down at one of the tables to wait for Oliver.
"Hey." A voice from behind me made me jump up from the table and adrenaline surged through my body. I turned around to face Oliver.
"Fuck! You scared me," I exclaimed while holding a hand over my heart.
"I'm sorry," He laughed "You okay there?"
"Yeah I'm good thanks."
"Great, let's go. I know you might feel uncomfortable, so just let me know when you want to leave, I promise I won't be offended."
"Relax, I'm the life of the party," I smirked. Truthfully, I was quite nervous about meeting Oliver's friends as his girlfriend, but I tried not to let it show. He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the library. We arrived at the portrait of the fat lady and looked both ways down the hallway to make sure no one saw me go inside.
