Chapter 89: Will to Fight

                                    

                                          
Hana flashed forward, vanishing into thin air as Tobi searched around for her. 
                          
Suddenly, his large shield like weapon blocked a massive crash of fire, sending Hana skidding back as she gritted her teeth. 
                          
"I guess cracking that mask of yours will have to come first." Hana growled as Tobi glared down at her. 
                          
"You will not touch the statue!" Tobi exclaimed as Hana smirked. 
                          
A large purple chakra cloak covered her, as Naruto was engulfed in yellow flames. 
                          
"Naruto! Let's use the Uzumaki attack formation!" Hana said with a smile as Naruto nodded. 
                          
Naruto summoned a clone, starting a tailed beast bomb as him and Hana ran forward. 
                          
Hana shot a kick towards Tobi, slipping right through him as at the last second, Naruto's clone ran forward for a punch, but was quickly taken out. 
                          
Hana flipped around, just as a large chakra hand came from Naruto, slamming the beast bomb into Tobi, but it traveled right through him. 
                          
Naruto's eyes widened as Tobi went to grab his face, as Hana shot forward. 
                          
Just as Tobi's hand was mere millimeters from Naruto's face, he was forced to go through, as Hana's fast kick went straight through his head. 
                          
Naruto ran through Tobi, as Guy slipped in between and started attacking with his Nunchucks. 
                          
"I'll deal with you..." Tobi started as Guy's nunchuck went through his head, Tobi stretching his hand out to grab Guy. "First."
                          
Just as Tobi went to grab Guy, he couldn't materialize as a marked kunai was sent through his head, Hana appearing behind him in a flash as she grabbed Guy and vanished. 
                          
Tobi started to go after Naruto, as Hana set Guy down on the ground safely. 
                          
Kakashi was hurled though the sky by the eight tails, his lightning blade surrounding a kunai just as Tobi reached out to grab Naruto. 
                          
The kunai went through Tobi's head, though he quickly kicked it towards Naruto, but Kakashi sucked it into his kamui just in time. 
                          
One of Naruto's chakra hands plunged through Tobi, who slipped through him as he landed behind Naruto. 
                          
"He's really strong. I can't get my attacks to hit him." Naruto said as Hana and Guy landed next to Kakashi. 
                          
Tobi slowly turned his head around, looking back at the four as a deep cut suddenly appeared on the side of his mask. 
                          
Everyone gasped as Hana narrowed her eyes. 
                          
"What's happening all of a sudden? I didn't see Naruto's attack hit him." Hana said as Kakashi nodded. 
                          
"That's impossible! Naruto's attack must have grazed his mask! Nice going, Naruto!" Guy started with a thumbs up, but Hana quickly interrupted. 
                          
"No. I can move faster than all three of you, which means my eyes are faster then yours. And I know for a fact Naruto's attack didn't hit him. It was almost as if Kakashi sensei's lightning blade kunai was the one to hit him..." Hana said as she fixed her goggles in thought. "But it disappeared before so it couldn't have..." 
                          
"Could it be...? No...that's impossible..But...I've never heard the kamui could be stopped! That means his ninjitsu is..." Kakashi stopped, taking a deep breath. "Guy, Naruto, Bee, Hanabusa. There's something I want to test. Help me out."

                          
The eight tails launched Kakashi, Guy, Naruto, and Hana through the sky, heading straight towards Tobi. 
                          
Hana yelled out as she punched a rock, shattering it into pieces as it started to fall around Tobi. 
                          
"Impressive destructive power." Tobi mumbled as Hana vanished, replacing herself with Guy who started to swing at Tobi. 
                          
"You underestimate the sharingan. I can read your movements, and I'll be taking these." Tobi absorbed Guys nunchucks, as Guy smirked. 
                          
Naruto jumped over Guy, a rasengan in hand as he went to slam it into Tobi's mask. 
                          
Tobi slipped through Naruto, as Hana yelled. "Now!!" Kakashi absorbed the rasengan with his kamui, just as Tobi was still slipping through Naruto. 
                          
Suddenly, the back of Tobi's shoulder exploded, as if the rasengan had hit him. 
                          
"It worked!" Hana said in amazement as she landed next to Naruto and Kakashi, watching as Tobi rolled on the ground. 
                          
"It's just like you said, Kakashi sensei!" Naruto said as Hana fixed her goggles with a large smile. 
                          
"The way his jutsu works is really simple...you see, the jutsu he uses to absorb things, and the one he uses to slip through the objects is the transportation technique. I can tell his jutsu is linked to the same time-space as my kamui!" Kakashi exclaimed as Hana shook her head. 
                          
"But that just doesn't make sense! Visual jutsu are not linked, so why is it just you and him?" Hana questioned as she played with her goggles to help her think. 
                          
"I don't know." Kakashi said as he shook his head. 
                          
Guy's eyes suddenly widened as he looked at Kakashi in disbelief. "Kakashi, is he...?" 
                          
Kakashi gripped his fists tightly as he stared down Tobi. "Where did you get that eye?!"
                          
"Where, Huh? If anything, in the last Great War. The battle of kanabi bridge...the same battle where you earned the nickname "the sharingan hero." And where you're partner, earned the name of "the Uchiha shadow demon." Tobi said as Kakashi stared in horror. 
                          
"Are you...?"
                          
Tobi pointed at Kakashi threatendly. "I thought I told you not to flap your mouth so readily! You're just talk now! Your words are worthless! It's too late for regrets. Reality just keeps cruelly moving ahead." 
                          
"You've seen reality, so you ought to know. Not one wish ever gets granted in this world. I'm going to create a world where it won't be necessary for a hero to pathetically make excuses in front of a grave. I'll make a world where it's unnecessary for the hero to just forget that his lover died at his hand! To pretend it never happened and forget!" Tobi yelled as Hana glared into Tobi's mask. 
                          
Kakashi breathed heavily, his hand shaking as an image of Rose flashed through his head, causing his heart to quicken. "Kakashi sensei, are you alright?!" Hana questioned as Kakashi narrowed his eyes at Tobi. 
                          
"You bastard!" Hana yelled as she walked forward. "You don't have the right to talk about our sensei like that! I can't believe you're still going on and on about that like it's going to change anything!" Hana said with angry eyes. 
                          
"We told you, we aren't stopping till we achieve our dreams...so I can prove to Rose sensei just how strong I am!! So I can show I can be a hero, and not just some monster! Me and Naruto have been entrusted with way too much from way too many!" Hana said with a massive smile, her hand resting on her goggles. 
                          
"Entrusted, eh? What if you were to lose the things jiraya, the fourth hokage, Rose... entrusted you with? I wonder what they would think?" Tobi said as Hana and Naruto stood tall against him. "Naruto, Hanabusa, if you fail at the things you were entrusted with...I wonder what you will think of yourself as well?"
                          
Hana looked down, clenching her fists as she looked back up. "If you postpone dealing with problems and cover it up with the word "hope," all the awaits you is an empty reality." Tobi stared Hana down, as she growled. 
                          
"The moon and sun chose me for a reason. I was chosen as Ruka and Tuka's protector. Now you listen to me, Tobi. Me and Naruto were both entrusted as jinchuriki for a reason, and Naruto has mastered Kurama and I'm close behind. We will fight with everything we've got...
                          
And we won't fail!!" Hana yelled as Naruto smiled at his cousin. 
                          
Naruto was engulfed in his yellow chakra cloak,  as Hana was ignited in a bright purple cloak. 
                          
"I couldn't have said it better, Hana!" Naruto laughed as Hana smiled. 
                          
"Let's go!"
