You made preparations to leave for the next two months. It was already winter when you finished writing a resignation letter. You've been avoiding Kuroo as much as possible at work while hanging out with Alisa more as the year closes to an end.

You already bought tickets to fly back to Brazil. The only thing you needed to do now was handing over the resignation letter and pack the last few bits of your stuff. You were ready to leave.

At work, you went into the branch manager's office and handed in the resignation letter. The manager accepted it and you heavily sighed back in relief. Your last few days in Japan will end. Maybe you would come back in the future, but for now, it was better to leave this place.

When you left the branch manager's office, Kuroo was waiting to get his turn to meet the manager. You locked eyes with him for a second before sending him a curtesy smile and walked past him.

Kuroo turned around and watched you walked away before going inside the manager's office. He eyed the entire room like a hawk before his eyes ended up on the resignation letter in the middle of the desk.

Kuroo clenched his fists with a dark look in his eyes.

You walked away happily. As you've been doing a lot of self-therapy, you feel as if you've let go of a part of your feelings for Kuroo. The moment your eyes met his, your heart didn't drum against your chest like it used to.

You: Alisa! That's it!

You watched your friend trying out several gowns for a wedding and after 4 hours of looking through two different places, your eyes set on a dress that looked absolutely stunning on her.

Alisa: Is it really?

Alisa was blushing as a few of her friends, her mother, and I complimented her. She started admiring the dress on her in the mirror and I smiled. Your little sister is going to be married.

You asked the attendant to grab a tiara and a veil as you stepped up on the podium and gently placed the wedding attire on her.

You: I'm sure Kuroo will be stunned the moment he sees you.

Alisa blushed and gladly twirled around to show off her dress to the others. They all showered her with praises and I felt proud.

Alisa: Oh! Y/n should try one dress too! I'll pick it for you.

You instantly backed away in a gesture that said you didn't want to, but Alisa kept insisting so you couldn't run away from this.

Alisa took off her gown and asked the attendant to tailor it to her size and made several adjustments. As she did that, I put on the dress Alisa picked for me. The dress looked so amazing.

Alisa: I'm glad we're best friends.

Alisa ran over to me as she saw me in the dress.

Alisa: You picked a dress perfect for me and I picked a dress perfect for you. Aren't we just compatible with each other?

You pinched Alisa's cheek and laughed along with her. Alisa pulled you out of the dressing room and tried to show the other ladies her handpicked dress for you.

When they saw you, Alisa's friends and her mother genuinely complimented you in the wedding dress. As you gazed into the mirror, you could see that the dress clings to your body in a very elegant and sensual way. It showed the most prominent parts of your body like how a poem navigates through a description.

Looking at the mirror, you found a familiar silhouette behind you.

You: Kuroo?

All the ladies turned around to see Kuroo staring at the scene from the back. He started to cough and looked away as Alisa rushed up to him.

Alisa: You shouldn't be here!

Kuroo: Uh, I was just going to tell you that the tailoring for the groomsmen suits already finished.

Alisa: That's great.

Alisa reacted positively to the news.

Kuroo: Is Y/n also looking for a wedding dress?

Kuroo was trying to not look at you. Before you called him out, he had been staring at you intensely as if trying to print your figure in the wedding gown inside his head.

Alisa: I wanted her to try one too since she's been helping me a lot.

When Kuroo realized that you weren't looking for a wedding gown, he turned his eyes to the ladies and bid his farewell. Telling them that he still had somethings to do.

You rolled your eyes at his action and turned back to the dressing room. You wanted to get out of the dress as fast as possible.

Christmas. You booked your flight on Christmas day. You had no family here to celebrate it with so it wasn't much of a problem to set it on that date.

You put your luggage into the back of the taxi's compartment and checked for important things like your passport, ticket, and wallet.

As you confirmed that everything was there. You locked the door of your old house and put the keys in the hidden compartment under the mat, where your father used to keep it.

You'll go back to Japan after five years to visit your dad. He should be mentally and physically stable by then.

You didn't tell anyone about your exact flight date. You just told them that you were going at the end of the year. That's why no one came to escort you.

You sat in the taxi towards the airport with a wish in mind.

When you got there, you went to the counter to put your luggage in and printed your flight tickets. Before you went inside the gate. Your eye caught a figure standing outside the automatic doors of the airport.

Kuroo stood alone in the midst of people. You stared him down for a moment before shaking your head.

You opted to leave the man behind and walked your way towards the airport gates.
