Nightwing perched on a rooftop near where he had been the night before. His motorcycle was parked in an alley below him. He sat there for nearly an hour, watching and waiting. He was hoping the thugs who were hanging out there yesterday would be there again today.

Despite trying to convince himself that he didn't care, Nightwing really wanted to make sure Batman was safe. So he waited.

Nightwing was just about ready to shoot out his grappling hook and lower himself back down to his bike, when a few thugs stepped out of the darkness and leaned against the wall of the building Nightwing was perched on. He didn't need a microphone to tell what they were saying.

"He got 'im boys." One of the thugs said loudly.

The other thugs laughed roughly in response before one said, "Now that the Bat's gone Gotham will be in the palm of our hands."

"Their police force has gotten soft with that costumed punk doin' all their work for 'em." The first thug replied.

Their conversation might have gone on longer if Nightwing hadn't swung down and landed a kick to the second thug's head. The man fell to the ground, out cold.

Nightwing wasted no time taking out thug after thug with precise kicks and jabs. When the only one left was the first thug, Nightwing grabbed him and slammed his back up against the wall.

"Where are they?" Nightwing growled.

"W-who? I don't know what you're talking about!" The thug squeaked, shaking with fear.

"You know who I'm talking about scum. Now tell me, unless you want me to beat the answer out of you." Nightwing said with a scary calm. Under the surface his blood was boiling with rage and fear.

"Alright alright!" The man said. "They're in a warehouse down by the docks."

"I need a specific address." Nightwing clenched his jaw and lifted the man up off of the ground.

The man reluctantly gave the address, all the while looking like he was going to wet his pants because of fright.

After receiving the address Nightwing threw the man to the ground where all of his buddies were laying and disappeared into the shadows.
