Blade's Pov
We used the elevator to go up to our room. Zorua stood between us while looking at us back and forth
"Zo! Zo!" She barked. Angel listened.
"You think we look alike?" Zorua nodded. I blushed and looked away "Hm... You're not the first who said that. I wouldn't know. I never seen my reflection" I looked at her.
"You haven't?" I asked while opening our room door "How come?"
"Father always told me to never look at it" She shrugged and laid on her bed. Pichu and Zorua did the same.
"Did he say why?" She shook her head "Well, anyway... It's amazing how you knew that Zorua was a Pokémon. I got really scared when you captured a human" I laughed.
"Sni!" Snivy was sent out along with Zebstricka. Snivy leaned against the corner in a cool way while Zebstricka sat on the floor and greeted Zorua.
"The hearts of Pokémon and People are different. but no matter what, everyone has a shine to it"
"And your heart is brighter than others" she nodded and pet Pichu's head.
"Yes, there are others like me. Pichu has a bright heart also" I nodded and sat down.
"Angel?"
"Yes?" I looked down at Espeon getting comfortable on the edge of my bed.
"Now that we've been friends for over a month... I would like to know more about you. You don't tell me much and I really like to" she looked at Zorua and smiled
"There's no reason why I should hide much from you" I smiled "I guess I can say I trust you enough to tell you" She took a deep breath "Let's see... Where to start?"
"Your name"
"Okay, my name is Angel, previously Wing because I messed up the translation of what my father really meant" I chuckled "from my memories, I remember living in Kanto with my real father. One day, he decided he wanted to better himself after a state of depression and we went to the Pokémon Tower to meet his deceased Charmander. I adored Charmander because it always kept my room nice and lit up"
"I questioned whether it was okay to go to the Pokémon tower since he never let me go before. I was different when I was younger, so I was afraid that I might bump into any ghost, but if I was going with my father, I would go" I nodded "We went up the top floor, to visit Charmander. When we got up to the top, the first thing I saw was Charmander after father told it that it was time for him to move on. I watched Charmander lean its head on his, accepting him" she held her heart "That day was also the day I first encountered a shadow, Litwick, and father. That day might of been the first day of what the rest of my life would be like"
"I have the ability to see and feel ghosts. Ghosts are the spirits of Pokémon and people. They often take the shine of the heart with them after they pass, which makes them harmless, but when they don't take the shine, they are mean and well, taunt me"
"What do they say?"
"Mean things, like I'm stupid, I'm weak, they tell me lies so that I break down... the reason they taunt me and not others are because I don't have a shadow. Also, because I don't have one, my original one that father got rid of is trying to come back through them. I have my friends to keep that from happening"
"You mean your ghost Pokémon?" She nodded
"My ghost types have their own job. Misdreavus calms me, Shuppet feeds off the negative thoughts" I nodded "Sableye gathers things for me" she took out her dream mist and put it on the counter "And Gengar feeds me. Fear, self-doubt, other things are the prime setting of a shadow. Shadows are your negative traits, which everyone has..."
