I sat at the bar of the whiskey a go go, talking to my friend who just so happened to work at the bar. It was pretty nice, I got free drinks a lot which was great. My friend asked me to cover their shift for a few minutes. Of course I agreed.

I used my little waitressing experience to carry food and drinks out to tables. I observed the place, seeing all kinds of people. I saw some geeks, some friends, some druggies and some disco freaks.

Thirty minutes later my friend still wasn't back. I was starting to think I could actually work here, I mean the people are great and I get to serve drinks and listen to live music. Seems like a great job to me.

I take a few pitchers of beer and pass them out to different tables, taking orders and stuff along the way. On my way back to the bar I bump into a tall man, spilling cheap beer all over my white shirt, revealing my red bra underneath.

I look up to see an extremely attractive man. To make it better, I get fired on the spot. I rush out, embarrassed and  overwhelmed. I didn't even have the damn job and I already got fired. Nice going.

Someone walks out of the bar and approaches me. It's the guy from earlier, the one I spilt beer on. Great.

"Hey. The names David. Sorry for getting you fired by the way, I didn't mean for that to happen."

"Y/n, and it's totally fine I was just covering for a friend." I reply

"Here uh you can use this." He hands me his jacket

"Thanks Dave. You're pretty cute ya know." I say

"Haha thanks, I was thinking the same thing about you actually." He leans in, kissing me.

After a few seconds he pulls apart and gives me a piece of paper. His number was in it and below it said 'call me'

He starts to walk away.

"Oh and by the way, red is my favorite color." He says winking.
