McGonagall POV:
I was marking papers late at night when I heard a frantic knock at my door. Who would be awake at this time of night? I opened it to discover three very worried marauders.
"What did you do now?"
"Professor, we think Snape's gonna try and kill himself!" burst out Remus. "We heard him talking about how it'll be over soon! Please do something!"
I quickly rushed the boys to Horace's chambers and explained the situation to him. When we got to the Slytherin Common Room, we found Regulus Black and Lucius Malfoy pacing anxiously.
"Where is mister Snape?"
"I don't know! We've been waiting for him but he hasn't returned!"
"Check his room, quickly."
James POV:
We all rushed upstairs to his dormitory. The door banged open, waking Avery and Mulciber.
"What's happening?" Ignoring them, we all searched for clues as to where he might be. In his sock drawer, I found a small metallic box. Upon opening it, I let out a horrifying scream. The case of bloody knives clattered to my feet and i visibly saw each occupant of the room's eyes widen in horror. Black and Malfoy shared a look.
"He's at the Astronomy Tower."
