A few hours had passed, the children were still playing in the yard. William, Michael, Henry and I went to the kitchen.
Henry seemed to have taken his friend's revelation well, didn't ask too many questions. I imagined Will had commented about it with him. So Henry's reaction didn't impress me.
We talked about a lot of things, that's when Michael spoke.
"Uncle Henry, I was thinking about having a Halloween party at Freddy's."
William's eyes lit up at the boy's words and Henry asked.
"What kind of party?"
"A normal party ... With sweets and costumes ... Freddy's could stay open until a little later and we could do a costume contest."
The conversation continued, Henry, Michael and William exchanged ideas, excited.
It was still a few weeks before the party, but the three of them wanted to organize everything that afternoon.
