Galaxy's POV:
Why didn't you tell me this sooner!" I complained, thinking about what I'd just heard.
"The only NightWings who know this are me and your mother, and so any other NightWing wouldn't have told you, but I was afraid it was too soon." StarFinder explained. "I'm guessing you should go back to the rainforest, with your friends"
"Won't you tell the NightWings?" I wondered. I wonder if he's guilty. I wasn't sure I imagined the ghost smile across StarFinder's face.
"No, Galaxy." He said with a smirk. "Of course not." I took a deep breath, hoping that StarFinder hasn't been tricking me this whole time I've trusted him.
I started flying back to the Rainforest to my friends, and I found them looking thru the trees. Blizzard caught sight of me and winced.
"Galaxy! Where were you! You know how much time we've spent looking for you? I hit a ton of branches!" He complained.
"Blizzard, calm down," Wind advised. "Galaxy is back, and that's all that is important. Today is the only day we're staying in the Rainforest, so you can stop." She likes me, I thought. Wind probably hasn't seen any other NightWing less awful then me.
(A/N wind is on the cover on the chapter but not colored)
I shifted away from Blizzard, and looked into Vortex's green eyes. Suddenly, I felt another strange headache. In my mind, I saw a dark black dragon - that looked like StarFinder pinning another black dragon under his sharp claws. Then he threw him into some kind of pit, and grinned. The image disappeared, and my mind came back to normal.
Wait... could StarFinder could've been telling the truth? Was I one of the only dragons within 100 years who had powers? (A/N... Didn't forget Moonwatcher, did you?)
"So Galaxy, where were you when we were here?" Vortex asked wonderingly. She looked at the my silver scales glowing in the sunlight and then looked over to Blizzard. He stared at her awkwardly. "Yeah... where were you?" Blizzard said with a bored tone, joining in on the conversation.
"I..um...where...over..." I tried to put together nervously.
"Just talk!" Blizzard said quickly. Wind gave him an amused look and turned over to me.
"Galaxy, what is it?" She said softly. "Just tell us."
Hold on to your advantage. Stay safe, don't make them hate you. I don't know what to do!
"I um.. I went to a mountain to visit an old friend of mine." I said, eying Vortex. She's been silent. I wonder what's up with her.
Vortex's POV:
What to do! What to do! I really, really want to go see my family, but I have a different life now. Maybe this is my new family. Just calm down. Think. I believe I should say here. It seems a lot safer here than a kingdom with Blister in it. Already sounds a lot better. But I've met a lot of NightWings - including that tail biter Marrowseer (He didn't die yet. This takes place during the war.) Can I trust Galaxy?
Blizzard' s POV:
I don't know if I can trust Galaxy. Or Wind. Especially because she's royal. Or anybody. What is GOING ON? (A/N yeah, he's a lot like Tsunami :D) Maybe we should go find a SandWing or something. At least one ally, come on.
WindSeeker's POV:
Poor Galaxy. I bet everyone is just thinking mean stuff about him. I wonder what he's hiding. But he has to be trustworthy. He must be.
Galaxy's POV:
"Um." I started, with a stab of guilt.
"Let's find an open place to sleep. It's getting dark." Wind said, with her ruby-red tail flicking toward the Orange and yellow sky. We all flew toward a huge tree with soft leaves, and we all got in places. I decided to sleep at the middle of the tree, with my wings and tail curled up. I closed my eyes, and fell into sleep
-Beginning Of Dream-
I was in some kind of hole, and above it, I saw and StarFinder - well, what looked like him in a cave with an adult SandWing. "Well. What's for today?" The SandWing hissed, flicking his tail. "He knows." StarFinder responded, staring down at the SandWings harmful tail. "Perfect." The SandWing said, with his black forked tongue flicking in and out. "You have one more job to do. You know it." "Yes." Said StarFinder. "Get ready."
