ava's pov: 
I put on my shoes and grabbed my purse,keys, and wallet. I walked into the living room and mattia got up walking towards the door. he opened the door and let me walk out first. he turned off the light and I look the door. we walk down to his car and get in. 
ava:okay can you just tell me where we're going??? 
I said giggling. 
mattia:it's a supriseeeee 
we both started laughing. mattia started the car and started driving. after a long 3 hours we made it to this beach. 
ava:oh my god yes the beachhhh 
I said getting excited. the sun was just starting to set so it looked beautiful. 
mattia:wait there's more
he said getting out of the car and walking to the trunk. he pulled something out of the trunk and then came and opened my door. I looked at his hands and saw a basket. 
ava:wait we're having a picnic?! 
I said jumping out of the car. I was really excited lmao. 
mattia:yesss come on 
I closed the door and we walked over to the sand and found a nice place to sit at. there wasn't many people there so it was pretty quiet. mattia laid the blanket down and we took off our shoes before sitting down. 
mattia:okay so I brought some of our favorite snacks 
he said grabbing the basket and pulling stuff out. 
ava:omggg yesss 
we both giggled and then started eating while talking. 
ava:okay here try to catch this grape 
I said grabbing a grape. mattia put his head back and I threw the grape towards his mouth, and he ended up catching it. 
mattia:YESS 
he said chewing the grape. 
mattia:okay now let's see if you could catch it 
he said grabbing a grape and I did the same thing he did. he threw the grape and I caught it. 
ava:yayyy 
I said cheering. we finished out food and cleaned up. the sun had completely set yet so we decided to take some photos. I went first and mattia took a couple of me and then I took some of mattia. once we finished taking photos we sat back down. we admired the sun in a peaceful silence. I looked over at mattia and I could tell something was in his mind. 
ava:what's wrong? 
mattia:oh no just thinking 
he said turning and smiling. 
ava:I can tell somethings on your mind 
I said slightly laughing. 
mattia:your right, I do
ava:talk to me 
I said turning so I was facing him. 
mattia:when I first met you we kinda just clicked, and later on I realized you were the one.
he said smiling and I smiled and lowkey blushed. 
mattia:and when we broke up, it hurt me so bad. but I knew I fucked up so bad that you had to let me go. I've realized that we've both grown as people and I think we ready to continue our journey. together
ava:I feel the same way 
I said looking into his eyes. 
mattia:well then, y/n will you be my girlfriend 
ava:uhhhh
I looked at him and his facial expression changed and he looked like he was going to cry. 
ava:NO NO IM JOKING, yes I'd love to be your  girlfriend 
I said smiling and mattias smile grew. 
he pulled me closer to him and grabbed my face kissing me. I kissed back and smiled. a few seconds later we pulled away and smiled at eachother. 
mattia:I love you so much 
ava:I love you too 
I said kissing his cheek. we stayed like that for a bit longer before we got up and got ready to leave. we placed away all the stuff and then walked over to the car. we got in and mattia played some music as he started driving home....
