Aru lay in the bed, Kara watching over her with a small smile on her face, " Tsk tsk Aru, " she shook her head, "You should know better than to fall off a mountain." Kara chuckled to herself, despite not being in the joking mood.
"Big sister flower...... Why do I see white light? It's so blurry and..."
Kara jumped back, startled at hearing Aru's voice. Her head instinctively went to her chest, calming down her rapidly beating heart. She sighed, "You scared me. The light's nothing. It's just the sun. I opened the curtains so that sunlight could keep you warm. I gave you some anti-delirium medicines...so you should be fine in a bit. Just close your eyes and rest." Kara closed Aru's eyes with her hands, and the girl fell asleep almost instantly.

Aru murmured in her sleep as she slowly got up, disoriented. Her head pounded as she looked around, observing her surroundings. She instinctively touched her pocket and felt the little bump indicating that Vajra was still there.
Her memory was blank. She couldn't remember what had happened. Then, without warning, a torrent of memories flooded in as she slowly got up to speed as to what had happened so far. She remembered falling off a mountain but the rest was blank.
"Kara? How are you-" Aru questioned, cut of by the amused look Kara gave her.
"Well, it looks like the sleeping flower is finally up. You didn't get eaten by the bug huh? Told you so. I gave the explanation already but it looks like this flower forgot. But I better tell you what happened and get you up to speed huh? To answer the first question, I am here because...you know what? That's not important right now. Anyway-"
Kara got cut off by Aru, " No.. That is very much important. You're supposed to be dead. " Aru claimed, her face guarded.
Kara sighed, " I know it's important, just not now. The thing is, Keira used most of her power to bring me back to life, instead of letting me die like a normal person would. Of course, we all know that she's far from normal."
Aru felt the back of her earlobes, attempting to assure herself that her jewel was still there. Long story short, it wasn't.
Kara nodded at her empty lobes, "Yeah, that's what Keira used to get herself enough power to bring me back, but I think they're safe now. They escaped somehow." Kara stopped there, not wanting to elaborate.
Suddenly Kara brought out a small jewelry box that contained the lightning earrings, "Yours was about to vanish so I quickly got them before they could. Say hello to Ember. Aru hesitantly took them from Kara, staring directly into her eyes. She examined the earrings, and watched as Vajra glowed brightly, showing that those were real. Aru put them on quickly, he eyes not leaving Kara's.
"Thanks, but why'd you name my earrings?" Aru asked.
Kara laughed, "I didn't name them. She told me."
Aru rolled her eyes, "Great. And they said I was crazy."
Kara narrowed her chocolate eyes, "If you don't believe me, take them off and ask her yourself."
Aru scoffed and took them off, "Hey jewel - Ember thingie, can you talk?"
When she got no response, she smirked and dangled them in Kara's face, but before she could put them on, the jewels glowed yellow, like Vajra. Then, a voice silky sweet echoed out, "Hello mistress! I am the oldest jewel in the bespeckled council of jewels, loyal to the council of the gods. My name is Ember, and I prefer that you call me that if it's okay. This is the only time I can speak because of a direct order but for me to speak again, you must remove the Curse of silence. Then I can show you the powers of a True Jewel. Just a side note, your lightning bolt, Vajra was it? Anyway, if you activate me and him at the same time, then you shall achieve your secret power. Vajra and I are such good friends! Anyway, I'm sure you have heard this power before. Time Manipulation and Space-Time Voids? Well I think that's all the talking I can do and-" The jewel said rapidly, only to be cut off by a loud shushing noise, immediately quieting the jewel.
Aru gaped at a previously glowing accessory, "W-wh-wha-?" was her educated answer.
Kara doubled over, practically laughing her head off, "Wow Aru! That was perfect!"
Aru tried smirking, "Ha ha. Very funny, b-but it talked.
"You want to hear her more, then you have to remove the Curse. Poor thing has been silent since the 1800s!" Kara looked at the jewel, "I don't understand why people do this."
Aru looked at her, "How did she talk to you?"
Kara's eyes looked hesitant, and it looked like she was about to tell Aru, but she shook her head and shrugged, "I think the name just popped into my head. It seemed to fit. I mean, lightning equals fire and fire equals ember. Bada Bing Bada Boom, Bob's your uncle."
Aru got confused, "Who's Bob? I don't think I have an uncle named Bob."
Kara just rolled her eyes, "It's an expression, genius."
Aru raised an eyebrow, "Yeah, and I'm the queen of England. Who's Bob?"
Kara facepalmed at Aru's absolute genius. She just smiled and shook her head, leaving Aru to her confused thoughts. Aru scrolled through her memories trying to remember why she was climbing the mountain in the first place, "Kara?" she asked, to which Kara just hummed in response, "I need to get to the person at the top of that mountain," Aru said, pointing to the mountain.
Kara cringed, "I don't think that's a good idea. The god there is very unforgiving, and waking him up from his slumber isn't something you'd want to unleash on the world Aru."
Kara wanted to stop the discussion there, but Aru was adamant about getting up the mountain, "I got information from...someone, that the person up there would help me master Vajra, my jewel, and the time manipulation. I need the help."
"No, you need safety. Now, will you please just relax? You'll get a headache and become delirious again if you stress yourself. Besides, the god resides on that mountain because it's especially impossible to climb. There's no way you can get up there."
Aru looked out the window and towards the mountain, "Kara, I'm getting up there. If I'm going to defeat Keira and I need to calm down a cranky god by giving him some chocolate milk, then I'll do it. I just need to stop Keira from destroying the world."
