Having chill days with Reggie, were never actually 'chill' because he could never sit still for longer than 10 minutes. No matter how bad you wanted to just sit there and do nothing, Reggie would always drag you into doing something.
Today, he decided to drag you to your backyard for some time by the pool. You were trying to study but Reggie's constant shifting every five minutes make it impossible.
He was supposed to be your brother's best friend, yet he was always around you. So here you were, sitting by the pool while Reggie attempted to get you to go in.
"Oh come on Y/N, the pools right there and you won't go in?" Reggie asked as he crouched down next to your lounge chair.
"Yes Reg, I didn't even want to come out here, you were the one that wanted to." You say refusing to look up from your book as you turn the page. Running his fingers through his hair he stands up and heads towards the pool.
You would never say it out loud, but you had a slight crush on Reggie. I mean it's hard to not start liking someone when you see them every day and they're as sweet and caring as him. Eyes covered by your sunglasses, watching Reggie strip off his shirt was entertaining.
"Fine," He said turning back towards you, "you don't wanna go in by yourself? Then I'll just have to give you a lift." Picking you up, Reggie runs back towards the water, jumping in. Submerging under the water, you rush to run back up.
"What the hell Reggie?" You say as the two of you resurface and you begin to lift yourself out of the pool. Pulling your sunglasses off, you spin around to the laughing boy.
"Y/N calm down, it's just water its not gonna kill you." He says as he lifts himself out. Trying to look anywhere but his chest, you return to your chair.
"Reggie, can you put a shirt on, please? You're a bit," You pausing looking up at the boy who was waiting curiously. "Distracting." You finish, looking back down at your book.
"Nah," He says smirking as he leans over you on the chair, causing you to lay down further. "But its good to know you find me, or rather my body distracting." Sinking further in the chair, he leans down hovering over your lips only to pull away before they touch.
Standing up you storm into the house, Reggie following close behind. As you walk into the house, you find Luke and Alex sitting on the couch playing his game system.
Hey sis, why is Reggie shirtless, and why are you two wet?" He says pausing the video game to look at the two of you. Pulling your shirt over your head, you send a glare his way. "Agh, no one wants to see that."
"I don't want to talk about it." You responded as Reggie says simultaneously replies "Honestly, I thought it was hot." Earning him a glare from both Luke and Alex. Luke maybe your brother, but Alex was just as protective.
"On that disturbing note, Reggie comes with us, were going to work on the new song" Luke says as he and Alex leave through the kitchen. Before leaving Reggie walks towards you, spinning you around and pulling you towards him by the waist.
"You know, if you liked me you should have just said it." He whispers in your ear before placing a kiss at the corner of your mouth before turning to leave. "By the way," He starts saying over his shoulder, "Be ready by 7 tomorrow, I want to show you that new dinner on 4th." Winking he continues into the kitchen and goes to follow your brother.
