Blake's point of view-
It was already midnight and Sean hasn't come home yet. Not that I care but he usually don't come home this late. I called but he didn't pick up. I continued watching the movie with Samantha, some girl from biology class I hooked up with, when suddenly the door flung opened.

Sean was covered in bruises, and that is not something that happens everyday considering he's a black belt fighter, even better than me and I gotta say, I'm good, like really good. He stumbled his way in. Barely able to stand on his feet.

"Hey Sam, uh come again some other day ok?" I quickly send her on her way and helped Sean.

"Bro what the fuck. You drinking?" I interrogated while helping him carefully.

"No I'm not. Is Emma asleep?" Sean asked me.

"Uh yea. What's that gotta do with anything." I was confused. But not as much as how he got those bruises. "Now tell me what the fuck happened?" I sat him down on the couch.

"I got beat up."

"By who?"

"Kalgan."

"The fuck? How? Ten people can't beat you in a fight and you got beat up by Kalgan? Are you serious?" I didn't believe him at first. "Wait, is it Emma's fault? I saw her with them and she came back terrified today. She must have done something."

"No it's not. And what the fuck Blake, you saw her with Kalgan and you didn't try to get her out of it?" Sean sighed. "It's my fault."

"Well Kalgan and his friends beat Emma up just to get to me." Sean said while shaking his head and cleaning his bruises. "We could've just behave recklessly anywhere because I've got 5 brothers who knows how to defend themselves. Now there's a sister who can't."

"Stepsister you mean." I rolled my eyes.

Sean sighed again. "Look, we gotta look out for her. You know we've messed with a lot of people since, Chloe.... never mind. Just look out for her. We're the ones dragging her into this."

"You're the one not me." I joked.

"Just shut up. You slept with way more people's girlfriends." Sean finished up with the bandages then went to bed.

Sean's point of view-
Hours ago...
"If you fight back or even touch a hair on me, your sister will be the one getting it." Kalgan threatened me.

"I'll be waiting there." I returned the threat.

He scoffed. "Let me tell you. I'll wait outside her school every. Single. Day. And I'm sure you're not gonna be there every single day are you?"

I kept quiet.

"That's what I thought. Now if you don't want Emma returning home everyday beaten up with a broken rib, a broken nose, who knows, a broken leg, you know what to do." He punched me right in the face.

I staggered a little on my feet.

"Not gonna fall? Guess I wasn't hard enough."

I received another hard blow to my face and I fell backwards.

"Not so tough now huh?"

One of his friends kicked me in my guts. Then multiple punches and kicks just kept coming and coming. I groaned in agonizing pain but bore through it. They were finally done after what felt like forever.

"That'll show you." Kalgan and his friends walked off into the evening satisfied.

I slowly uncovered my face with my hands. with much difficulty, I tried to get up on my feet. My face was covered in blood and bruises. I've been through worse, this should be nothing. I didn't want to go home now and let Emma see what happened. She'll be blaming herself and she'll feel bad for me feeling it's her fault. I stayed out until about midnight.
