Tears were streaming down my face, even though against my will, I still couldn't believe Bryan had died. I didn't liked him, but I didn't want things to end that way. It all seemed like a nightmare ...
I heard the sound of William's car entering the garage, followed by laughter. I recognized the voice of William's youngest son, Christopher. I wiped my eyes before they entered the house.
At that moment I realized that I hardly knew his children and that them would be part of my life in some way, even though I had no serious relationship with William. The man treated me very well, but he was still my boss.
Deep down I was very attracted to William and I struggled with my own feelings to avoid further problems ... I realized how my life had changed from the moment I met him.The door opened abruptly, my gaze was drawn towards the entrance, William's younger children came running and laughing. Michael was right behind him, watching his siblings.
Christopher soon noticed my presence and exclaimed.
"(Y / n)!" The little boy ran towards me he was about to climb on my lap when William came through the door.
"Christopher, (Y / n) can't pick you up yet".
The child looked at his father with a pout, he looked like he was about to cry. William then held him in his arms and said.
"Don't be like that, Chris. (Y / n) is still recovering and soon she will be able to play with you ... I have good news ... (Y / n) now is going to live with Daddy!"
Christopher's eyes lit up with joy. I smiled at the boy who was looking at me. He hugged his father.
That would be my new life ...
