Gideon's POV

I was reading a book Spencer had recommended to me a few months ago when I received the disturbing call. I looked at the contact information and scrunched my eyebrows. I answered without delay.

"Hello?"

"G-Gideon?"

I dropped the book and leaned forward in my seat. "Spencer, what's wrong kid?"

"Sh-She's gone. Sierra...I-"

His sobs poured out of the phone and I swear a tear fell out of the phone. I touched my cheek and realized that they weren't Spencer's. they were mine.

"Okay, I need you to try to calm down. What happened?"

"W-We aren't sure, but she was visiting a friend who was recently pregnant and she never arrived back at the friends house. Th-There was a call about a kidnapping and the police d-department got a sketch artist to the witness. We traced it around and they connected it to someone."

"Who?" Though I think I already knew, I wanted to be sure.

"Charlie Daniels."

I was silent, and closed my eyes. The little girl I had saved all those years back was snatched out of my grip again. How could I leave and never once think that she would be kidnapped again? Sierra, the girl that I had basically adopted as my daughter, was gone again.

"Send me the address to my phone. I'm driving there."

"Thank you, Gideon."

I was with the old team and met David Rossi again. I looked over everything and finally called Garcia.

"Princess of The Computers, how may I be of service?" I'd never admitted it, but her happy tone of voice in such a terrible case was always spirit-lifting.

"Garcia, it's Gideon."

I swear I could see the shock on her face as she whispered, "It's nice to have you back for a case. I-I'm sorry about Sierra. I promise we are all doing everything we can."

I smiled and said, "I wish it were on better terms as well."

"Alright, what do you need to save out damsel?"

~*~*~*~

"Thank you, Garcia."

"You're welcome, Agent. By the way...how is Spencer?" She said carefully."

I looked over to see his eyes were red and he was staring at a map. He circled different areas, but I knew he wasn't paying fully attention.

"He's..." I trailed. I nodded and said, "He'll he be better when we find Sierra."

~*~*~*~*~

JJ had called a conference and I was meeting with the officers. I gave them the profile I had given so many years ago along with added facts.

"He is narcissistic. He can only truly love himself. He feels the need to keep anything that a younger child would play with because of his desperate need for his victim." I said to the group of agents and officers.

"His victim is his own daughter." Morgan added. "He'll probably keep to himself and drive a family-like vehicle such as an SUV or a Sedan."

"He wants to keep up the act of having a family, so if you were to ask about his family, he'll probably feel awkward and say he's married with several children, or say the complete opposite; that he has one daughter and his wife has died." Hotch continued.

Reid cleared his throat and said, "He has a strange bank account, he deposit's $120 to $275 into his bank account every week and spends that same amount after two days."

Prentiss looked around and said, "He has a history of drug abuse, so do not be surprised if he it out of it or if he is fully alert and his eyes are bloodshot or glossy."

"His name is Charles Daniels. Please, find him and bring Sierra back." JJ stressed.

We all regrouped in another room and Hotch got a call from Garcia. "Talk to me." He said.

"There was a deposit of 165 dollars into his bank account five minutes ago. Bank Of America, and the address is sent to your PDA's." She said speedily.

"Let's go." Hotch said.

"Your the best, baby girl." Morgan thanked.

I turned to Reid who looked like he was lost. I gripped his shoulder and he looked up at me. I gave him a stern look and promised, "I am not going to allow another woman I love die on me again. I know the exact feeling your getting, but I promise you, she is alive. And we are going to get Sierra back."

He nodded and said, "But, there's something else..."

I scrunched my eyebrows and asked, "What?"

He looked up at me and said, "He could be using drugs on her."

The fear and sadness in his eyes was so prominent, I took him into a separate room. I closed the door and that's when he bawled his eyes out.

Spencer's POV

"Why didn't I go with her?! I could have paid attention when her dad was released from jail!" I cried.

I couldn't help but feel that she was already dead. It had been 24 hours already, and her life was on the line, if her's wasn't already cut.

"Listen to me, Spencer."

I looked up and he handed me a tissue. He sat in the chair in front of me and looked at me. He cleared his throat and began to explain Charlie Daniels to me.

"Sierra is alive."

I visibly relaxed as he continued, "Charlie doesn't want Sierra to die. He wants to re-live her childhood and be there for her. We need to find her before she 'turns' nine years old."

I raised an eyebrow and asked, "How come?"

He looked at me and said, "I took her away from when she was nine."

I knew from the words that he said that Charlie was going to kill Sierra when she turned nine years old.
