CHAPTER 71

                                    

                                          
EMILY'S POV
                          
So we're going home today. I can't help but think that I'm going back to New York on the 20th. I'm excited to don't get me wrong but it's going to be hard to leave these guys. It's 6am and we are already on the boat on our way back to Dover. Everyone's asleep apart from Leo and I.
                          
"Hey," I said quietly as to not wake the others but loud enough so Leo could hear me. 
                          
"Hey hey hey hey,"
                          
"Can't sleep?"
                          
"Emily, when do I ever sleep in cars?" Leo teased.
                          
"Point taken,"
                          
"When are you back home again from New York?"
                          
"Who knows. It all depends on the performance schedule,"
                          
"That sucks. It'll drive Charlie insane,"
                          
"And what about you and Victoria,"
                          
"Of course. Your my best friend. Do you ever think of the days when it was just you and me? Like when Charlie still lived in Bristol and we didn't even know Victoria,"
                          
"Yeah a lot actually. It's weird how much has changed. 2 years ago we were both just 2 teenage school kids. Now, I'm living in New York and on a roadway every night, been in a music video, Miss Teen Dancer UK, been on The Ellen Show. have worked at DisneyWorld and engaged to the bestest boy I could ever dream of. You have music out and touring constantly, 3rd on BGT, twice on The Ellen Show and an album at the end of the year. It's crazy,"
                          
"Also Jeremy and Claudia leave us alone finally," Leo pointed out.
                          
"Well, since the video. Sometimes I miss hanging out just me and you,"
                          
"Same but I wouldn't change where we all are now for the world,"
                          
"Neither would I. Right, I, going to get some sleep, night Leo. Love you," 
                          
"Love you too little sis,"
                          
"Hey I'm older than you,"
                          
"By four days," Leo said. (a/n true fact😂)
                          
"Night," I smiled then I fell asleep. 

                          
**back home**
                          
Blair dropped me back off at home. I was on my own as we were all shattered. I walked through the door and left my suitcase at the bottom of the stairs and went through into the lounge to where mum, dad, Mel, Jordi and Morgan were sat watching Take Me Out on catch up.
                          
"Your home!" Mel yelled running at me and engulfing me into a hug.
                          
"Yeah I am. Only for a few days though then I'm going back to America,"
                          
"Aww," she sadly sighed. 
                          
"But I'll watch Frozen with you tonight," I smiled and she was contempt at this.
                          
"How was Paris sweetie?" Mum asked.
                          
"Absolutely amazing! We went sightseeing and the boys surprised Victoria and I with going to take a class at the Paris Royal Ballet which was breathtaking,"
                          
"Overload's been busy while your away, you tell her," Jordi started nudging Morgan.
                          
"No you tell her,"
                          
"No, you tell her," Jordi teased.
                          
"Will someone just tell me?" I laughed. 
                          
"I will. The boys announced to the Overloaders about Harri, Ellie, Catherine, Nicole and I," Morgan explained.
                          
"How did they take it?" I wondered.
                          
"Mostly very well. Some hate but I expected it tbh," Morgan said. 
                          
"It was exactly the same with Charlie and I,"
                          
"Right, I'm going to make some JorTea. Anyone want any?" Jordi interrupted.
                          
"Me please baby," Morgan said.
                          
"Me as well please. Won't get any from Tuesday night onwards," then Jordi left with mum and dad following behind. 
                          
"Back to our previous conversation... How did you cope with all the hate?" Morgan asked. 
                          
"It was hard. But it got to the point to where Charl would notice something was wrong when I was around him. One time, I just broke down in front of him. So he decided to do a Twitcam with me in it and just basically explained that any hate will be blocked," I answered. 
                          
"I see. Well I spoke to the girls earlier and we all seem to be okay so I think that we will just play it by ear,"
                          
"Good idea. Right, I'm going to grab my cuppa then if you don't mind, I have a Frozen date with my little sister," I smiled then retrieved my JorTea from the kitchen and went to find Mel. Firstly however, I got in my comfy pjs. 
                          
"Mel?"
                          
"Coming!" And she ran as fast as her little legs would carry her into my room and jumped on my bed as I put the DVD into the player. She climbed under the covers and I laid next to her. 
                          
As Frozen was playing, I was texting Charlie.

Mel's making me watch Frozen... Help!

Tough luck there, Leo's making me watch some sort of Lion documentary😂

I deffo know which I'd rather be watching and it's not the Lion documentary

Got to go, Mel's making me have my eyes practically glued to Elsa singing Let It Go. Night baby💕

Mel soon fell asleep as it was past her bedtime. I wasn't that far behind her.

                          
**the next day**
                          
Well today was mostly spent packing. I can't believe I go back tomorrow. I'm excited but I don't want to go either. Today Leo, Vicki and Charlie came round to help me pack my suitcase. The realisation was finally starting to kick in that I was leaving these guys not being 100% sure when I'm going to see them again; it could be months. I'm leaving my two best friends in the whole world and my fiancé (still not used to saying that). Speaking of fiancé, we still haven't announced that we are engaged to the bambinos. Oops!
                          
"Charl, are we going to announce to the Bambinos that we're engaged?"
                          
"I suppose so. I think some have figured it out already but we may as well make it official. Come here," he said and I went and sat on his knee. P
                          
"Awwww! Charlie and Emily are becoming an official engaged couple! Cuties," Leo and Victoria teased. 
                          
"Aww, shut up," I laughed. Then I got a notification from Twitter.
