YUA MISAKI

"So you finally found yourself a girlfriend?"

"We're not dating," Kageyama responded with a frown, "yet. But I think that will never happen."

"And why do you think that?" I raised a brow at kouhai.

It's been a couple of hours now since Omi and I have been wandering around the gym, greeting at some players from different schools that I happen to know while at the same time keeping them away from Omi to keep him from throwing a fit...or he could even possibly storm out of the gym if he wanted to.

I know he wanted to, but there's something that's stopping him from doing so. Though I have no idea what it is, I'm still grateful to have him here accompanying me even if it's out of his comfort zone.

Then here we are, settled in the bleachers as we watch Nekoma versing against Fukurodani with the owls in the lead as Kageyama sat to my left while Omi sat in my right, my hand interlocked with his to reassure him from time to time. It's the best I can do with for him being here with me.

I looked over to Kageyama, who fortunately made it in time along with Hinata before the day ended, and waited a reply as we talked about his current love life.

He shrugged hopelessly. "She has a boyfriend..."

"Aish, that's unfortunate."

"And she will be away for long soon..."

"Wait, but you mentioned she also likes you back," I shook my head, stopping him in his sentence. "But she already has a boyfriend?"

"Huh, oh, yeah." He nervously scratched his nape. "She's in an arranged marriage actually...but she made it clear that she likes me back."

Forming my mouth into an 'o' shape, I then smiled like the proud senpai I am to see Kageyama, someone who was once a selfish, cold-hearted person, now has learned to love.

"She was the girl you used to stalk before, am I right?" I teased.

"I am not a stalker! I just...idolize her." He mumbled the last part, sighing. "Anyway, I can't believe what Rekai-san did."

I scoffed, pushing all the memories of us that were trying to wave over me. "I didn't either..."

"Can I beat him up?"

"You can't."

"Why not? Don't tell me you're still into that dumbass?" Kageyama furrowed his brows.

"Of course I am not."

Truth be told, I'm still not completely over Rekai. I hated it. I hated how our memories still lingered around in my mind. But I hate him. I hate him and I will do everything to forget whatever memories we've created together.

It's not easy to move on, but I'll come to that someday. I'll just focus on whoever's there for me at the moment.

My mind thought of Tomoe, my bestfriend who's been there for me since the first day; Komori, who's always there to lift my spirits up along with the whole Itachiyama volleyball team. Then I turned to look at the Karasuno team, a wave of happiness flowing through me.

My hand, that was intertwined with Sakusa's absent-mindedly squeezed his as I cocked my direction to him. A small, warm smile stretches across my face.

He left his attention that was focused on the match and gave me a side glance, raising his right eyebrow as the two moles above it raised along with it.

"What?" He asked in his usual monotone voice.

"Thanks, Yoomi." I softly said.

"For what?"

For everything.

Chuckling, I shook my head. "Nothing."

He rolled his eyes before putting his attention back on the match.

"Ano, Misa," Kageyama spoke, leaning closer to me as he whispered. "Are you and Sakusa-san dating?"

A blush suddenly spreads across my face as his words also sent my heart racing fast. Now that I thought of it, we do like each other, but he knew I was still on the process of moving on from my recent break up. He respected everything I was going through, and still he stayed by my side.

I then found myself falling deeper for that germaphobe.

"W-we aren't," I chuckled nervously.

Kageyama nodded, turning to his right as Daichi called him for the next match.

"You should go back now," I said, ruffling his black hair as he scowled. "Then we'll get going, it almost 6:00 pm."

"Alright. Take care then." The setter huffed, fixing his now messy hair as he jogged back to his team.

After we bid our goodbyes, more likely only me as Sakusa only followed behind with his permanent scowl, we then left Nekoma High.

Walking down the fortunately not-so-busy streets of Tokyo, hands intertwined as a comfortable silence enveloped us, I stared forward in awe; the sun slowly setting just a few meters from behind the tall buildings as the sky slowly dissipated into a mixture of violet, pink, orange, and dark blue.

I was so lost in it's beauty that I didn't realize Sakusa had been calling my attention for a minute now, he then grew impatient and flicked my forehead, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"S-sorry!" I chuckled, rubbing my aching forehead. "What were you saying?"

He furrowed his eyebrows. "I asked: Did you have fun?" His voice was slightly annoyed, but I was used to it so it never bothered me anymore.

"Yeah...I actually did." I muttered, smiling.

He hummed in response, gripping my hand tighter.

"Are you tired? Do you wanna go home? If not, I want to take you out for dinner."

"Dinner? Like tonight?" I raised a brow.

"No, tomorrow morning." He sarcastically replied, rolling his eyes as I punched his arm playfully only to earn a glare from him.

Giggling, I retracted my hand back. "So like a date tonight?"

"Sure."

"Don't you have the urge to take a shower after staying in the gym for a wholeday?"

"Of course I want to, even though I've already disinfected myself." Sakusa grunted. "But I want this date more."

His last sentence sent me blushing madly, making me look away only to hear a small snicker coming from the wavy-haired man.

S-since when was he this smooth in his words?! I mentally screamed.

Exhaling sharply, I faced forward again.

"Night dates are my favorites," I smiled, and it was true. "Shall we then?"
