Chapter 26

                                    

                                          
I wake up the next day and walk downstairs to make Trinity her favorite breakfast since she is turning 15 today. 
                          
I can't believe that my baby girl is turning 15. It feels like just yesterday when I held her in our arms for the very first time. I also can't believe that she has a boyfriend. She hasn't told Tobias because she doesn't want him to freak out. He is going to find out today though. She wanted to tell him today since it is her birthday. 
                          
I am making waffles with eggs and sausage, Trinity's favorite breakfast, when Tobias comes downstairs with the twins. I smile at them because they are all dressed. I haven't seen Trinity yet, which isn't suprising she is, after all, a teenager and it is the weekend. 
                          
I kiss Tobias and then go upstairs and change while he finishes breakfast. 
                          
I am 7 months pregnant with another girl. We are going to name her Gabbriella Renee Eaton. (If you guys have read my other book Finally Free they have the same name.) I put on some stretchy black jeans, a black long sleeve shirt, and combat boots. I then go and put my hair into a high ponytail, out on my makeup, and then walk downstairs. 
                          
Trinity is down their when I walk downstairs. I walk over to her. 
                          
"Happy Birthday sweetheart!" I say and she smiles. 
                          
"Thank you momma. Daddy can I talk to you?" she asks and he nods. She looks really nervous. They go next door so that I can hear and come save her. 
                          
We get quiet and then we hear her say it. 
                          
"What? Why? When?" Tobias asks really mad. I walk in their and see Tobias looking really upset and Trinity looking sad. 
                          
"Tobias can I talk to you?" 
                          
"Yeah" he says and walks by me to our bedroom.
                          
   
                          
"Tobias you need to calm down. She is 15 years old. She can make her own decisions and she is only 1 year younger than I wals when I fell in love with you so get off of her back. We love her and we need to trust her. So calm down because it is her birthday and we love her. I am also pregnant and I am about to slap you." I say.
                          
"Tris are you really okay with this? She is 15!" he says and I almost loose it. 
                          
"I was only 18 when we got married. She is only 3 years younger than I was when we got married and you need to calm down. She is 15 not 4. SO CALM DOWN!!!" I yell the end and he just walks out of the room. 
                          
I slam the door and then sit on the bed. I need to calm down because I can't have stress because it could hurt the baby and it is Trinity's birthday. I need to just calm down and Tobias and I will talk later. 
                          
I walk donwstairs and I don't see Tobias. Trinity is crying. This must be the worst birthday for her. I walk over to her and hug her. 
                          
"It will be alright do you know where he went?" I ask.
                          
"Zeke's." She says.
                          
"Okay watch your sisters. I'll be right back. 
                          
   
                          
I knock on Zeke's door and he opens the door. 
                          
"Hey--"
                          
"Where is Four?" I ask raging. 
                          
He comes out a few minutes later looking even more angry. 
                          
"I'm going to leave you guys alone. See you back at y'all's house." he says and Shauna, Zeke, and Charles walk out of the house.
                          
"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? DO YOU KNOW THAT YOUR DAUGHTER IS SITTING AT HOME ON HER BIRTHDAY CRYING?" 
                          
"WHY DO YOU CARE? YOU GO BEHIND MY BACK AND TELL MY DAUGHTER THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE FINE AND THAT SHE CAN DATE WITHOUT EVEN COMING TO ME!" 
                          
"SHE IS MY DAUGHTER TOO!" 
                          
"I NEVER SAID SHE WASN'T!"
                          
"I'M DONE!"
                          
"What do you mean?" 
                          
"YOU EITHER FIX YOUR PROBLEM WITH HER DATING BY AGREEING WITH YOUR PREGNANT WIFE OR YOU CAN GET OUT OF MY HOUSE! SHE IS 15 YEARS OLD AND I'M DONE ARGUING WITH YOU ABOUT IT! GET IT TOGETHER FOUR BECAUSE I AM ABOUT TO BE DONE!" 
                          
I walk out and walk home. I guess we will see if he will actually come back. I feel very upset right now. I can't believe that he is being like that. Our daughter is 15 not 4. I just want to slap him. 
                          
I walk back in and see all of the gang there already. Zeke tells me that Trinity is in her room. I nod but don't go up there. I will let Tobias go up there if he comes home. 
                          
I sit down in the living room and my beautiful twins come in and sit next to me. 
                          
"Momma is daddy coming home?" Brooke asks me. 
                          
"I don't know baby." I say. 
                          
Pretty soon I hear the door open and Tobias walks in. He talks to Zeke, nods, and then walks upstairs.
                          
   
                          
(Tobias POV)

                          
I walk into the house and Zeke sees me and walks over. Here we go.
                          
"Your daughter is upstairs and your wife and twins are in the living room." he says and I nod and then walk upstairs. 
                          
I knock on Trinity's door and walk in. There aren't locks on the door because I will never let my kids have the temptation of doing anything behind a locked door. 
                          
She is sitting on the window seat in her room. The window over looks the pit since we don't see outside. 
                          
I walk over to her bed and sit down. 
                          
"Trinity come here." I say and she walks over to me. 
                          
"I'm sorry that I made this mess today baby. It is just that you are my baby girl and I don't want to admit that you are growing up. I'm sorry that this happened today on your birthday." I say and she nods and hugs me. 
                          
"I love you daddy." she says.
                          
"I love you too baby girl." I say back. 
                          
   
                          
(Tris POV)
                          
They have been up there for a long time. Trinity and Tobias I mean. I hope that everything is fine. 
                          
I love Tobias but he was being a butt today. He needs to except the fact that our baby girl is growing up. I hate the fact that we fought today but it needed to happen so that next time he knows not to do that again. I'm still mad at him but I should get over it. 
                          
Pretty soon they come downstairs smiling. 
                          
I smile and we start opening presents. 
                          
By the end of the day I'm tired and I just crawl into bed. I fall asleep almost immediatley.
