This is a platonic one, it's probably more Julian than Quark :')

Quark was busying himself behind the bar, tending to customers and counting his latinum. He turned to see you sitting on a chair, grinning at him with mischief. That, he had learned, was never good.
"And what can I do for you this time, Y/N? Another great plan I assume?" Quark asked, nodding his head toward you to acknowledge your smirk. Raising an eyebrow, you nodded.
"Movie night. Tonight. The Evil Dead. You. And me."
"A horror movie? You know I don't like old Terran movies, least of all those boring horror ones, if you could call it that." Quarks voice was filled with mockery, but you'd been friends with him long enough to know he was concealing another emotion; fear. He was scared, the last horror movie you had shown him kept him up for a week and he couldn't sleep without the lights on.
"Quaaark," you droned out, grabbing his sleeve as he tried to walk off. "Come on, it's not that bad. It's about this book that can summon demons and deities to your doorstep. Please?"
Quark turned to look at you, a mistake on his part, and saw your pleading eyes. He could never say no to you when you looked at him like that. Sighing, he conceded.
"Fine."
Your expression turned to one of glee, and you jumped up, returning to your work and telling him you'd see him later. He shook his head, failing to hide a smile at your antics.
Night came and you arrived at Quarks, who had prepared snacks and drinks for you both. You entered and proceeded to hug him, a gesture he returned.
"Do we have to watch-"
"Yes." You cut him off, a finger to his lips and an evil grin once again on your face. "I love horror, it's one of my favourite genres."
"You couldn't have loved something like Action or Romance, could you, Y/N?" He chuckled, and you laughed along with him.
"Absolutely not."
Settling down with the films opening credits beginning, you cuddled into the blanket together and began to eat. Excited you were, you hadn't seen The Evil Dead in years, and it was one of your favourite old films to watch, amongst a fair amount of others. It never got boring and the themes were just magical. Quark, however, not so much. As the film went on, you had heard him scream, shout and he must have jumped at least five times. By the end credits, the Ferengi was shaken, and seemed a little nervous.
"Well, what did you think?" You inquired, knowing he was about to lie his way out.
"It was good, complete nonsense, of course, I mean a haunted book? Who would believe such a thing?" His smile could have deceived anyone who didn't know him well enough.
The next day had come around, and you took your work break in Quarks with Julian. As you entered, you laid eyes on the bartender, who was fiddling strangely with some bars of latinum. Stepping up to the bar, Julian made several attempts at getting Quarks attention, none of them successful.
"Hey!" You shouted, finally pulling Quark from his trance. He dropped the latinum and came over to you both.
"Oh, welcome, what can I get you?" He asked, nervous disposition present. Julian shot you a look, and yours mirrored his own.
"Quark, you never greet me like that, are you going to tell me what's wrong?" you asked, staring the Ferengi down in some attempt to elicit a truthful response. Amusement on Julian's face, he chuckled.
"You do seem rather spooked, Quark."
"I," he started, emphasising the vowel. "Am fine, I-"
His speech was quickly cut short by your giggling, getting louder the more you sat on the situation. Julian raised both eyebrows, joining in simply because he found your laugh infectious; that, and Quarks unamused face was priceless.
"Are you.. are you..." you could barely manage the sentence through the laughter. "Are you worried your latinum is haunted? Is this because of that film last night?"
"No!" he exclaimed, slamming a hand down on the counter. Seeing your bemused look and the suppression of laughter from the doctor, he sighed. "Maybe."
Your eyes widened as you tried your hardest not to laugh again at him, feeling rather bad for your actions; a small, human part of you however had no control, and so your stifled giggles made it through every now and then. Julian's filter was less apparent than your own, not even hiding his smirk with his glass.
"What can I do about it?" your voice was sincere, and Quark looked at you with a silent plea.
"Call an exorcist."
Whether his words were truthful or sarcasm you couldn't quite distinguish, but you humoured him nonetheless. Nodding, you motioned your head to Julian, bringing him in on it, too.
"We'll absolutely do our best for you, Quark." You spoke.
"Yes," Julian added, nodding along with a confident voice. "There should be an intergalactic space exorcist out there somewhere we can beam over." The biting mischief in his voice saw you almost choke on your drink, Quark eyeing the two of you and tutting.
"You're not funny. Either of you."
"I'd say we are." You declared.
"Almost... frightfully so, I'd say" quipped Julian, his pun causing the poor bartender to roll his eyes.
"It is rather spooky how hilarious we are, gives you chills right to the bone."
"Absolutely right you are, Y/N. Hauntingly correct.."
Quark walked off with a stern look, a look that told you he would be getting you back for this. You, too absorbed in your pun sharing and laughter, took no heed of the Ferengi's threats; it was common play between your crew now, Quark having long since been included as crew, and you knew it came from a place of love. Settling down, you laid your head on Julian's shoulder, coming down from your cheer. Raising a glass, you lifted your head at smiled at the good doctor.
"Do you think we got him?" You inquired, matching Julian's smirk. He clinked his glass with yours.
"Oh, definitely."
