Chapter 36

                                    

                                          
We reached at the farm house and there were a lot of people over there who were drinking, dancing and making out as usual. We all changed into our swimsuits and directly jumped into the pool.
The music was loud but was still enjoyable. We all danced and did all sought of fun. The vibe over there was full of fun and chilled. All of us were drunk and we're out of the pool dancing and eating. 
This was the first new year I was celebrating with my friends and was having absolute fun. We played lot of stupid games and Noah even gave me a lap dance which was hilarious.
It was like a minute to midnight and for the new year to begin. 
"Maya come with me." said Noah.
"Where?" I asked.
"We just have less then a minute." he said and he dragged me with him.
We went out of the farm house and ran towards the field which was like a hill top. 
It was like a few seconds for the new year and we sat there holding each others hands and we saw the first firework. 
"Happy new year bae." he whispered into my ears and he kissed me. 
It was one of the best moment in my life. We were there making out in the field full of fire flies and fireworks in the sky. The view was so beautiful over there that I was overwhelmed by everything.
After the fireworks we laid down there gazing at the stars. It was after years I was seeing a sky full of stars as we usually don't get to see it on city sides. This was the best new year I could ever even imagine.
We walked back to the farm house like after an hour our whole group had already passed out. We went inside the farmhouse and both me and Noah laid on the big couch.
"I'll just be back in a minute." I said and went to take my bag.
"Why did you bought your bag?" asked Noah. 
"Well I have something for you." I said and took out the gift I bought for him yesterday. He opened it and I'm sure he liked it.
"It's the best gift I've ever received. But this was not needed."
"You like it?"
"I love it. Thank you."
"I bought it yesterday but I wanted to give to you in the new year."
"So sweet of you." he said and kissed me.
"I'm really sleepy. Good night." 
"Good night." he said and he hugged me and we slept.
When I woke up in morning Noah was still sleeping. I moved him to wake him up.
"Wake me up when December ends Maya." he grunted.
"Well it already ended yesterday. Wake up now." I pulled him.
He got up and went outside to wake up the others. I shook Anna's head and she got up at once, she woke up Maverick and I woke up Amelia and Steve.
We all were up but were really grumpy this morning. We all grabbed our stuff and went towards our car. 
"Whose fully awake to drive?" asked Steve.
Maverick and Noah without saying anything went and sat on the back seat of the car.
"Well I'll drive." I said.
"Yeah. And I'll drive the other one." said Anna.
We pulled over our cars and headed to our home. It had been a long but amazing night. After driving for more than a hour we finally reached home. 
We all went inside and everyone who was too sleepy directly went for the shower.
"Let's order the breakfast Anna." I said.
"Yeah. You order by the time I'll just do my final suitcase check." she said.
"Oh yeah. You all are going today." I said.
"Yep. Steve's and Amelia's flight is in the evening and mine and Maverick's is at midnight."
"Okay. I'll just order everything and then after Noah's comes I'll go for a shower."
"Yeah cool."
She went to her room and I ordered steaks and fries the classic for everyone. I made myself a cup of coffee and I called my dad while having it. I called him twice but still he didn't picked up the call probably he was asleep as it was night time in India, so I just dropped him a message instead. 
"Go have a shower." said Noah as he came downstairs.
"Yeah. And please just take the food delivery."
"Yep." 
I went upstairs to take a shower and then I got dressed. When I went downstairs Anna too came at that exact time and rest everyone was there. 
We all had our breakfast and coffee.
"Guys it's noon already. Me and Amelia have to set out for the airport as it will take like an hour to reach there and then an another hour for all the check in's and stuff." said Steve.
"I'll come to drop you guys to the airport." said Noah.
"Don't take the trouble for that Noah. We will go by our car and it can be parked over there so when we come back we won't have to search for a cab." said Amelia.
"Yeah that's fine too." said Noah.
Both Amelia and Steve went to there rooms and grabbed their bags. 
They came to the hall and we said goodbyes to each other and then they headed out of the house and waved at us and then they finally left.
"What am I even supposed to do until you are back Anna. I'll be so bored." I said.
"Well what am I for Maya." Noah smirked.
"True Noah's with you and I'll be back in two weeks. But you can call me whenever you want to, I'll always be there." she smiled and gave me a side hug.
"Well don't you gonna miss me Maya." said Maverick.
"I will. You are the only one whom I can count in as a family. But I hope that soon you'll shift over here." I said.
"I'll try my best. I'll be going back to India from LA and then as soon as things are settled there I'll shift back to US." 
We all sat there talking and sharing all the pictures we clicked yesterday. 
It was eight in the evening and we all were hungry. Noah made pea salad and lettuce sandwich. 
After that me and Noah went to the airport with them to drop Anna and Maverick. I really didn't wanted any of them to go but it's fine they'll be back.
"See you soon Maya." said Anna and hugged me.
"I'll miss you." I said.
"I'll miss you too." she said.
"Meet me soon Maverick." I said.
"Of course little sister." he said and gave me a hug.
We did all the goodbyes and they went inside the airport. Noah held me and we walked to our car.
"I'm gonna miss them so much dude." I said as we sat inside the car.
"Well I'll make sure that you don't." 
"And how are you gonna do that?"
"Wait and watch." he smirked.
"Tell me. Please."
"Wait until tomorrow."
We reached home and directly went to our rooms as we were really tired.
"Maya can you sleep in Anna's room today?" 
"Why?"
"Actually I want to watch Netflix and I don't wanna put on the earphones and it might disturb your sleep." 
"Yeah it will."
"Good night." he said and hugged me and kissed me.
"Good night." I said and went to Anna's room.
I laid down on the bed and slept peacefully. It was long day and I had to get some activities to do from tomorrow
